Pope Francis has been gifted a pair of custom Nike Blazer sneakers featuring his coat of arms.
The unique footwear was the idea of Father Jim Sichko, who wanted to give the Pope something .special and unique. while visiting the Vatican.
He commissioned True Blue Customs in Lexington, Kentucky, to create a pair of Nike Blazer Mid 77. Vintage sneakers in the white and yellow/gold colours of the pontiff.s flag.
A one-of-a-kind wooden shoe box was made for the sneakers, which also have the Pope.s name on the back.
Father Jim hand-delivered the sneakers to Pope Francis this week, with the Pope looking thrilled to receive them.
True Blue Customs say the exclusive package is one of their favorite-ever projects.
