Brandy Norwood returned to the “The Boy is Mine” tour with Monica in Indianapolis on Sunday, Oct. 19. Brandy and Mo’ rocked the house, one night after she stormed off the stage in Chicago, leaving Monica to perform alone.
Brandy concocted the excuse that she left the stage due to dehydration. But fans say she stormed off the stage and made a beeline for the sound guy. Brandy was reportedly upset by technical difficulties with the sound.

Brandy, 46, and Monica, 44, performed to a full house at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, where the Indiana Fever play basketball during the WNBA season.
Brandy didn’t miss a beat when she performed her hit song, “Best Friend.”

One fan tweeted on X (Twitter): “She had to redeem herself after that fake sick stunt. She not the PROGRAM. You left Monica out there for dead while Monica was the one that was really sick!”
An Indianapolis fan complained, “I love them!! But why won’t they sing it like the record? or at least close to.”
