K. Michelle lets her husband sleep with random women and she even enjoys watching videos of them being intimate. But she draws the line at her husband paying other womens’ bills.
The RHOA star revealed her open marriage to Shannon Sharpe in an appearance on “Club Shay Shay” on Wednesday.
She said letting her husband cheat is OK because men will be men. But he’d better not pay another woman’s bills.
“If you’re gonna tell me my husband was out with you and he paid your light bill, then we’re gonna – we’ll probably have a problem,” she said.

“So you want him to just poke?” Shannon asked her. “Poke and go,” K. Michelle replied.
She added: “What do you mean? If men gon’ be men and they need the feeling, the feeling doesn’t include paying bills. If that’s your feeling, then you’re not my man. You shouldn’t be paying nobody bills, buying them no little as* purses. I don’t care about purses myself.”

K. Michelle said the women are likely singing her songs in the mirror and “humping” on her husband as they’re singing her songs.
“The last thing that you is gonna do is sit up here and pay a fan’s bill,” she said emphatically. “I already do it, I already pay the fan’s bill. I been doing it for over 6 years,” she explained. “I get up every week and pick a fan’s bill to pay, and I don’t have to publicize it or nothing. We already paying fan’s bills. So you finna go and sleep with a fan and give them something? Oh no.”
Shannon said he knew about open marriages but he’s never spoken to a wife who is in an open marriage.

K. Michelle, 44, is married to Dr. Kastan Sims, whom she’s known since junior high school. The country music singer confirmed her marriage in a social media post in September 2025.
She captioned the post:
“See I don’t usually do this. Thank you Dr. Sims. I love you and I’m happy to be your wife. I know I’ve driven you insane but I’m worth it. It’s time to plan a wedding. Who would’ve thought. Been in love with you since Junior High School.”
Open marriages are becoming more trendy. Today’s women feel empowered to allow their men to stray. As long as he cheats under her own terms.
The response from X.com users were mixed. One person wrote, “Standardizing infidelity within the covenant of marriage based on an individual’s low self-esteem is blasphemy.”
Another person wrote, “Some people really normalized anything as long as money isn’t involved couldn’t be me.”
A third person tweeted: “We really went from ’till death do us part’ to ‘just don’t finance her.'”
A fourth person commented: “The moment you start bringing other people into your marriage bed, you defeat the purpose of what God created marriage to be.”
Standardizing infidelity within the covenant of marriage based on an individual's low self-esteem is blasphemy. Serious consequences are for the husband, who God will hold in contempt. Steep spiritual consequences are forthcoming.

The moment you start bringing other people into your marriage bed, you defeat the purpose of what God created marriage to be. Marriage was designed to be sacred, holy, and between husband and wife. The world keeps normalizing threesomes, open relationships, and sexual confusion,…
