LeBron James Jr. may be youngest NBA exec in history, according to USA Today. The 7-year-old, nicknamed "Bron Bron" by his parents, was given a front office job with his dad's Miami Heat NBA franchise. The distinction was awarded with a court side seat in the NBA executives' section of the American Airlines Arena.
Junior was sitting court side when his dad, LeBron, accepted his Most Valuable Player trophy during the game 1 victory over the hapless Indiana Pacers in the 2nd round of the playoffs on Sunday. The youngster who turns 8 on October 6 looked snazzy in a tailored suit and tie. It still isn't clear what Bron Bron's title is (or his pay scale), but it probably involves a lot more than just pushing paper clips around his desk. Good for Bron Bron!
Last week People magazine named struggling singer Beyonce the most beautiful woman in the world, and now the person who is most criticized for stealing other writers' music wins a journalism award. Wtf?
Something called the 'New York Association of Black Journalists' recognized Beyonce for an article she probably didn't even write. That organization's credibility is now shot. All true journalists who have ever been recognized by this organization should return their awards in protest of this mockery!
From Page Six:
The superstar’s Essence magazine cover article, “Eat, Play Love,” won her first place in the Arts & Entertainment category of the New York Association of Black Journalists awards.
Beyoncé wrote about taking time away from the studio to enjoy the day-to-day pleasures of life.
“Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows . . . and spend time with my husband,” she wrote.
Here are more pics from Beyonce's People magazine cover shoot. Beyonce looks stiff and plastic in the overly Photoshopped images. Beyonce is a far cry from the World’s Most Beautiful Woman in these images. In the cover story, Beyonce revealed she is filming a new movie, ‘A Star Is Born' later this year, after she performs a three-night stand at New Jersey’s Revel Resorts (May 25th, May 26th and May 27th). She is also recording the movie's soundtrack. Bey probably won't get to see much of her 3 month old daughter Blue Ivy. It's a good thing she has nannies.

After performing at TIME Magazine's insufferably boring 100 Most Influential people gala, Rihanna was spotted arriving back at her hotel wearing a cute lingerie outfit with a big red bow. The paparazzi informed RiRi that People magazine named Beyonce Most Beautiful Woman -- and Rihanna laughed out loud at that one.

Rihanna, 24, was seen heading out of her hotel wearing a fuschia dress on her way to attend the Time 100 gala in NYC tonight. Rihanna was named one of Time's 100 most influential people, despite the fact that she smokes marijuana trees, and drinks and cusses like a sailor. Clearly the Time editors don't count character or morals when they pick their honorees.
Rihanna's mother flew in from Barbados to attend the gala with her troubled daughter.

Actress Meryl Streep pulled an upset win over "The Help" star Viola Davis when she took home the Oscar for her role in "The Iron Lady," at this year's Academy Awards.
As a small consolation, Streep donated $20,000 in cash to 2 of Davis' favorite charities.
According to the Chicago Tribune:
The Oscar winner wrote a check for $10,000 to Upward Bound to honor Davis, the program's director Mariam Z. Boyajian confirmed to TheWrap.
Boyajian said it was the largest donation in the organization's history.
"I was writing to her when you called," Boyajian told TheWrap. "I wanted to give her a chance to settle down from the hectic weekend before I gave her the good news."
Streep followed up that donation with a separate $10,000 check to Segue Institute for Learning, according to the Providence Journal.
Both Davis and her sister Dolores Davis Grant attended Upward Bound, a federally funded program that prepares low-income high school students for college.

^^^ That was the headline on People.com last night during the telecast of the 84th Annual Oscar Awards last night.
I was shocked and taken aback when I read that gratuitous headline.
The article went on to mention how "completely comfortable" Viola Davis looked wearing her own "rich reddish crop" of hair offset by the "emerald-hued Vera Wang dress and glamorous green earrings." How shameful and embarrassing is it that in 2012 -- with a black president occupying the White House -- we as a human race make headlines for being "comfortable" wearing our own hair?
Offsetting her rich reddish crop with an emerald-hued Vera Wang gown and glamorous green earrings, Davis looked completely comfortable — and totally stunning — as she walked down the carpet to take her seat in the theater as a best actress nominee for The Help. Says the star of changing up her style, “It gives me flavor. It makes me feel like I’m spicing up my life a bit.”
Wow. She's spicing her life up by wearing her natural hair? We should all bow our heads in disgrace at how far we've come.

I stopped watching the Academy Awards almost 30 years ago when I found out that the narcissistic pageantry was rigged and almost everyone knew who was going to win.
Deadline.com's writer Nikke Finke wrote: "The Oscars suck every year! And this year the Oscars are gonna suck worse than ever! Because we all know who’s going to win the marquee categories without a single envelope being ripped open."

According to a loyal insider who begged for anonymity, up-and-coming singer Rita Ora is being positioned to steal Rihanna's spotlight. According to my source, who is well-connected on the west coast, Rihanna begged her former abusive boyfriend Chris Brown to jump on her "Birthday Cake" remix to divert attention away from Rita, who has also been in the studio with Brown.
They say Rihanna is very nervous and constantly looking over her shoulder to see how far Rita Ora is behind her.
Read the email from my informant after the break!

For the 2nd day in a row, American singer Rihanna, 24, was mobbed by the British media in London as she partied at Mahiki nightclub following the 2012 Brit Awards. What could cause the normally staid, composed British media to react to Rihanna in this way? Just 2 days ago, the "Birthday Cake" singer rode the subway, where she was virtually unrecognized just like a normal commoner.
Rihanna won the Best International Female Award at the 2012 Brit Awards held at the 02 Arena yesterday. She also performed a medley of her songs. Afterwards, Rihanna partied with a few friends, including Rob Kardashian (Khloe's brother), who sneaked into Mahiki nightclub to party with RiRi.
Rihanna reportedly left the Mahiki nightclub with a woman's lipstick stain on her neck. Through good detective work (and a few phone calls), we were able to match the lipstick stain on Robyn's neck to the woman standing directly behind her in the above pic. Everyone knows RiRi is a freak. But who is this chick that was freaking on her?
All this attention Rihanna is getting could be due to the fact that she is back together with her abusive boyfriend, troubled singer Chris Brown. Maybe the British media believes Rihanna will be beaten to within an inch of her life when she returns to America -- and they may never see her again?
According to loyal reader @MissFeven, the woman in the photo with Rihanna is Sarah Jane Crawford, a radio presenter in London.
