In my post about the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards, I never suggested that Tip and his wifey Tiny were not together anymore. I clearly stated that she skipped the Awards because she was a stay-at-home mom. But that doesn't mean she's a shut in! She does get out of the house when her babies are asleep.

A friend of mine was at the after party... I just thought I should share this with you to let you know Tiny was with T.I... So you can clarify your post that suggests they are not together..

Please I would like to remain anonymous

Thank you.

P.S. I enjoy your blog!! keep up the good work.

Rappers Scrappy and Diamond are engaged to be married! Word is Scrappy surprised Diamond recently with a marriage proposal and Diamond happily accepted!

The couple were spotted backstage at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards all hugged up and beaming from ear to ear. Diamond sported a diamond encrusted engagement ring which she flashed proudly.

I'm proud of them -- especially Scrappy for making Diamond official and for telling the hood rats to back up off him! Although I am not a proponent of marriage, Scrappy should be commended for stepping up and being a man.

Oh, and Diamond is not pregnant. Isn't black love beautiful?!

Earlier, I posted a Morning Wood featuring Marion "Pooch" Hall, the actor who plays "Derwin Davis" on CW's popular show The Game.

Thanks to loyal reader Bee, who did some investigative work and found out Pooch Hall is married with two little girls. But why would he keep that a secret?

Pooch's wife is Linda Hall. She met Marion at UMass Dartmouth and quickly became pregnant with their first daughter. They married following graduation.

Linda is now a successful real estate agent in L.A. where she and Marion reside.

The Internet is a wonderful tool!

But don't feel left out, local industry execs and celebrities are being shut out of the fun too. Usher turns 30 today and he plans to celebrate the milestone occasion at a private bash being held at a secret location tonight.

I know this because one of my trusted spies told me about the invites going out last week. And of course, I told you about it right here.

Well, last night I heard from the manager of a celebrity who complained that Usher's camp (specifically, Jonetta) is being ultra secretive about the private bash.

How about Jonetta told the celebrity she would get back to her later, but never did. LOL. I guess the star is not as big as she thought she was. :)

Luckily for my loyal readers, I have a spy who personally received an invite from Usher's mo-manager Jonetta Patton last week.

So we'll still get the inside scoop on the who/what/where of the party.

It's obvious that Jonetta wants to keep it hush hush that Usher and Tameka are still together. Too late! That cat is already out of the bag!

Tickets to Usher's Nov. 11 concert at the rather smallish Tabernacle still hasn't sold out yet. Remember when Usher used to sell out arenas before Tameka destroyed his career?

There are still plenty of tickets available for $101 plus surcharges. And tickets are being scalped on Craigslist for below face value.

Happy birthday Usher!

The name of the game is controversy and last night's premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo delivered that.

While watching the show, I felt embarrassed, uncomfortable, and sad for those ladies who need material things to validate their existence.

For those of you who don't live in Atlanta -- the Hot Mess Housewives of Atlanta are not real and they don't represent the Atlanta that I know.

Yesterday, I spent the evening with a millionaire. I've known this guy for many years. It just so happened that 3 of his employees pulled up in their cars. They drove a Range Rover and two Mercedes Benz's. All three of those cars once belonged to the millionaire. Now those cars belong to his employees.

If you met him you would never know he was rich. And that's my point.

The really wealthy residents of Atlanta don't feel the need to broadcast their wealth or material things like those desperate, pitiful housewives of Atlanta who act like they're not used to having anything.

Yes, Atlanta is full of desperate Gold diggers like Sheree, Lisa, DeShawn, Kim and NeNe -- and the men who love them. Women who feel the need to floss material things do so to make up for what they lack in personality and self esteem.

I'm told that Sheree Whitfield has no money. She lost her clothing boutique through mismanagement of funds. That $5,000 handbag you saw her buy last night was actually borrowed.

It seems Sen. Barack Obama is almost as absent minded as Sarah Palin. At a recent press conference, Barack couldn't remember if he was married for 15 years or 16. So he said 15 because I guess men love round numbers.

But unfortunately he was wrong. They've been married 16 years.

Poor Michelle had her staff send a press release to all the media outlets correcting her husband.

How embarrassing.

I've never been married, but if I was, there is no way I would forget such a momentous occasion in my life.

Aww, how crute! Laila Ali and her husband, former NFL player Curtis Conway, introduced their new baby, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr, in this month's issue of OK! magazine.

OK! magazine, which is known to spend a grip on baby photos, recently announced it was getting out of the baby photo buying business. Apparently because the Angelina/Brad twins cover -- for which OK! paid about $14 mil -- tanked.

Anyway, Laila was already a step mom to Curtis's three children - twin boys and a girl. Congrats to the happy couple!

In an earlier post, I questioned why hunky actor Morris Chestnut showed up at industry events without a woman on his arm.

Well, I've just been informed that Mr. Chestnut is a devoted family man whose wife of over 10 years, Pam Byse, is home grown from a small town right here in Georgia.

The happy couple have 2 children (maybe 4), and Pam used to work for a living before she married into money.

In fact, top radio jock Ryan Cameron (Ryan Cameron Show, V-103) gave Pam her first job way back in the day when he was the manager of a record store in Carrolton, GA. Pam and Ryan attended the University of West Georgia together.

50 Cent is no expert on wack rappers considering he himself is very wack. But we agree with his assessment of Jay Z 100%:

"I'm a big fan of Jay-Z, but outside of the States and hip-hop circles, no one really knew who he was until he married Beyonce. The G-Unit rapper has also disputed reports that Jay-Z is worth an estimated $1 billion, but is adamant he’s not jealous of his fortune. He adds, "I don't believe he's worth that much! It's all been exaggerated. I'm comfortable. I don't want for anything so I'm not in a race."

His analysis of Jigga is pretty accurate from where I sit. It must really blow to be Jay Z and wake up every morning knowing the only reason he's still relevant is because his wife has a fat azz.

No wonder he waited so long to claim her.
