Joycelyn Savage’s parents say she’s still missing and her proof of life video was made using artificial intelligence (AI).

Jonjelyn and Timothy Savage believe Joycelyn’s video is fake and that the footage “raised some concerns.”

They say Joycelyn’s mannerisms and even her voice don’t match the video. “It confirms why we’ve been fighting so hard just to make sure she’s fine,” said Jonjelyn.

Timothy added that they’ve filed a missing person’s report twice. “We really need to find [out] what’s happening with our daughter,” he said.

Joycelyn spoke out after her parents said she’s missing and R. Kelly knows where she is. Kelly is currently serving a 30-year sentence for sex trafficking.

“I’m right where I want to be,” Joycelyn said in a statement sent to the offices of Attorney Beau Brindley.

She also recorded a video, published by TMZ. In the video, Joycelyn said she is happy and safe, and engaged to R. Kelly.

“I want the world to know I’m not being held against my will. I’m in love, I’m engaged, and I’ve made a choice — one I have the right to make as a grown woman,” she says.

“Please don’t believe the lies my mother and father are coming out here saying about me and Robert. I am not held against my will. I am not a sex slave. I am not brainwashed or any of those crazy lies that were told on me.”

Joycelyn said she proposed to Kelly while he was in prison three years. “I have seen him every weekend for the past six years.”

She added that they “plan on getting married and having a family… I’m very excited about that.”

Actor Jussie Smollett proposed to his boyfriend, actor Jabari Redd, during Pride Month. June is also Black Music Month.

Jussie posted photos of the happy moment on his Instagram page on Friday, June 20. In one photo, Jussie is down on one knee handing an engagement ring to Jabari in a very public place.

Jussie, 43, captioned the post: “I’ll be spending my birthday with my Fiancé… He said YES. [ring emoji].”

Jussie’s siblings Jurnee and Jazz celebrated the news on Instagram. Meanwhile, former co-star Taraji P. Henson, who played the actor’s mother on Empire, commented, “MY BABIES.”

Jabari and Jussie were costars in the 2024 drama “The Lost Holliday,” which Smollett directed.

It isn’t clear when Jussie and Jabari began dating. They were seen together in public for the first time in early 2024.

The actor came out as gay during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show in March 2015.

Jussie’s career is slowly recovering from his staged homophobic hoax in Chicago in January 2019. The aspiring singer claimed he had been attacked by two white men, who wore red MAGA hats, called him a gay slur and threw bleach on him.

Jussie was later arrested and charged with filing a false police report. He was convicted on March 10, 2022, and sentenced to serve 150 days in the Cook County jail. His family feared for his mental health when he was admitted to a psych ward.

But in November 2024, the Illinois Supreme Court reversed Jussie’s conviction. He later agreed to pay $50,000 to a Chicago charity.

Character actress Alzenia “Lynn” Hamilton, who starred on “Sanford and Son” and “The Waltons”, died of natural causes at her home in Chicago. She was 95.

Her death was confirmed in a statement on Facebook and Instagram by her former manager and publicist, Rev. Calvin Carson. He said she died on June 19, “surrounded by her grandchildren, loved ones and caregivers.”

“With profound gratitude and admiration, we celebrate the extraordinary life of iconic actress Alzenia ‘Lynn’ Hamilton-Jenkins, whose remarkable legacy continues to uplift and inspire,” Carson wrote. “Her illustrious career, spanning over five decades, has left an indelible mark on the world of entertainment, motivating audiences across the globe through her work as a model, stage, film, and television actress.”

Hamilton played a landlady in an episode of “Sanford and Son” before the character Donna was created for her.

“They were so impressed with that one scene that, oh, a month or so later they decided to give Fred Sanford a girlfriend,” she said in a 2009 interview. “He was impressed with my experience. He always said, ‘You’re so dignified and I need somebody dignified opposite me.'”

Hamilton also played Verdie on the CBS drama “The Waltons,” beginning in 1973. She reprised her role in the television movies “A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion” and “A Walton Easter.”

Her career spanned five decades, including movie roles in “Lady Sings the Blues”, and “Roots: The Next Generation”. Hamilton was too dignified to audition for roles in blaxploitation films in the 1970s.

She also appeared in TV series such as Good Times, 227, Dangerous Women, Generations, Port Charles, The Golden Girls, Gunsmoke, and Barnaby Jones.

Hamilton was married to poet and playwright Frank Jenkins from November 1964 until his death in August 2014.

Tyler Perry’s old friend, Walter Hampton, insists the playwright was openly ghey before he found fame. Tyler’s personal life became an open book last week when a former employee sued him for sexual harassment.

Aspiring actor Derek Dixon, who played the pharmacist Dale on “The Oval”, sued Tyler for $260 million alleging inappropriate behavior in the workplace.

In past interviews, Tyler expressed frustration over the constant questions about his sexuality. “I believe people have the right to privacy – and that includes me,” he said.

But Walter insists Tyler was living openly as a ghey man in Atlanta before the fame.

“He was living openly before the fame,” Walter said. “But once he got big, he got scared of what his audience would think.”

In a Facebook post, Walter wrote: “No one should be surprised by what Tyler Perry is being accused of. This has been going on for decades. Finally someone spoke out! The rest live in fear.”

Tyler began his career performing as a feisty older female character named Mabel “Madea” Simmons in Atlanta theaters. By 1998, word of mouth made Tyler’s stage plays a hot ticket in town. Videos of his plays sold like hotcakes.

His early fanbase was made up of conservative black church women. His popular plays toured the “Chitlin’ Circuit” in the south.

In 2005, Forbes magazine reported that Tyler sold over $100 million in tickets, $30 million in videos and $20 million in merchandise. An average of 35,000 people attended his productions every week.

But Tyler lived a ghey lifestyle that he kept hidden from his conservative, black female fans.

Tyler was sometimes seen in the company of younger black males who could be described as sex workers in the 1990s and 2000s.

Tyler has not publicly responded to the allegations made by his former employee. He attended his friend Beyoncé’s concerts in Paris, France after the lawsuit made headlines last week.

President Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump earned $40 million selling cryptocurrency tokens, according to reports. Barron pocketed about $25 million after taxes and is a self-made millionaire at just 19 years old.

Barron earned his fortune selling crypto coins through World Liberty Financial. The Trump family firm launched nine months ago after Barron urged his father to begin investing in crypto, Forbes reported.

Barron Trump is listed as a “co-founder” of World Liberty Financial alongside his dad, and his older brothers, Eric and Donald Trump Jr.

The New York University student’s investment advice paid off in a big way. The entire family has benefited from buying and trading digital coins. President Trump said Barron began investing in crypto before he did.

“Barron knows so much about this,” Trump said during an interview in September. “Barron’s a young guy, but he knows it — he talks about his [crypto] wallet. He’s got four wallets or something, and I’m saying, ‘What is a wallet?'”

In March, the World Liberty firm announced that it had sold $550 million worth of Trump tokens. Trump reportedly pocketed $57 million from token sales.

Trump once criticized Bitcoin as “a scam” but he has since changed his mind. The president’s net worth has doubled since the start of his campaign in 2024.

The total value of his assets is estimated at over $5.4 billion.

Fans of TikTok influencer Ashton Hall say he is harming his brand with a series of marketing stunts. Ashton recently traveled to Ireland where he wore a skirt, also known as a kilt.

His new video, posted on Saturday, barely cracked 300K views by Sunday afternoon.

Ashton’s fans are puzzled by his recent stunts, such as working out with shirtless music producer DJ Khaled.

Ashton, 29, still posts morning routine videos on TikTok, but those posts are becoming rare.

The Florida fitness trainer recently lost 4 races to 20-year-old YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed.

It all started earlier this year when Ashton posted his first morning routine video. The video was viewed over 110 million times on TikTok.

Ashton’s morning routine and training videos racked up millions of views on TikTok. His followers believed he could outrun cars and horses – until he lost 4 races to IShowSpeed.

Now TikTok users mock Ashton daily in the comments under every video. TikTokers post skulls and dead rose emojis in his comments to symbolize his dying brand.

Hopefully, Ashton can recover from his marketing missteps by resuming his famous morning routines.

Members of the manosphere are fuming mad at Michelle Obama for saying she’s “so glad” she didn’t have a son like her estranged husband, Barack Obama.

Barack, 63, is the 44th president of the United States. Despite his policies that didn’t favor the black community, he is still well-liked by everyone except his wife.

In a recent episode of her IMO podcast, the former first lady, 61, disparaged Barack, saying she’s glad she didn’t have a son who grew up to be like him.

Guest Angie Martinez, a radio host, said, “You should’ve threw a boy in the mix.”

But Michelle disagreed, saying, “I’m so glad I didn’t have a boy… ’cause he would have been a Barack Obama.”

Angie laughed and said, “Oh my goodness, baby Barack. It would have been amazing.”

Again, Michelle disagreed: “No, I would’ve felt for him.”

Michelle’s brother, Craig, who is also her co-host, added, “She just borrowed our boys. She always borrowed ours,” referring to his sons.

Michelle’s remarks did not silence the rumors that she and Barack are headed to divorce court. The Obamas share daughters Sasha, 24, and Malia, 26.

Michelle’s words hit the black community hard. Men are frustrated that she’s constantly dissing the former president.

On a manosphere board, men dragged Mrs. Obama in a thread titled “TF is wrong with Michelle Obama.”

One man wrote: “I made this thread about Michelle downing Barack in public. This is terrible. Tf wrong with this lady? There’s no way she was perfect in the relationship no matter what happened behind closed doors.”

Another person wrote: “First, she said Obama wasn’t around enough as a father. You’ll think she’s starting a 2028 campaign.”

A third person wrote: “She knows the real Barack; you all know the public image. I said that to say, maybe she knows something about him that you don’t know.”

Others on social media suggested Michelle is struggling to make a name for herself. She wants to be seen as someone other than Barack’s wife.

Deion Sanders’ fans expressed concern for his health when the Colorado football coach resurfaced in a new video after taking time off for medical reasons.

In the new video posted on his Instagram page, Deion is seen fishing on a boat with his former star player Travis Hunter and friends. Even though Travis is no longer a Buffalo, he remains close to his mentor Deion.

In the video, Deion, 57, wore a dark grey sweatshirt in stifling 95-degree Texas weather. Cold sensitivity is one of the signs of anemia and poor blood circulation.

Two weeks ago Deion confirmed he was dealing with health issues after losing 14 lbs. Deion’s playing weight was 195 lbs. He now weighs about half that.

Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin broke down and cried after visiting Deion at his home in Canton, Texas. In an episode of his podcast, Michael said he is “pulling for Deion.” He added, “Pray for my boy!”

When former child star JoJo Siwa came out of the closet in January 2021, many in the LGBTQ+ community accused her of queerbaiting, also known as gay for pay.

Queerbaiting and gay for pay are pejorative terms for a heterosexual celebrity who uses the LGBTQ+ community for marketing and PR.

In a new interview with the Daily Mail’s YOU Magazine, JoJo said she was “pressured” to come out as a lesbian.

“I kind of boxed myself in and I said: ‘I’m a lesbian.’ And I think I did that because of pressure,” she explained.

JoJo said that she felt the pressure came “in a weird way” from “inside the [LGBTQ] community at times.” She finally admitted that she wasn’t a lesbian on an episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK earlier this year.

JoJo, 22, began dating her fellow CBB cast member Chris Hughes, 32.

“I’ve dropped the L and I’ve gone to the Q baby! That’s what I love about sexuality,” said Siwa, referring to sexuality as “fluid.”

JoJo’s fans on Reddit.com were furious. They felt betrayed and used by her.

In an Instagram post in Jan. 2021, the then-17-year-old YouTube star told her pre-teen fans:

“Personally, I have never, ever, ever been this happy before and it feels really awesome. I’ve been happy for a little bit now. It’s just so, so, so awesome. You guys probably haven’t seen me this happy since I was on tour.”

JoJo stopped short of saying she was a member of the LGBTQ+ community. “The reason I’m not going to say this answer is because I don’t really know this answer,” JoJo said, while dodging the question.

British actor Aaron Pierre is rumored to be the next James Bond. Aaron, 31, is best known for voicing Mufasa in Mufasa: The Lion King. He is also the talk of the town for dating actress/singer Teyana Taylor.

Hollywood insider, Daniel Richtman, leaked an update on the leading candidate to play James Bond in the next 007 film, produced by Amazon/MGM.

Richtman dropped a hint that Aaron was at the top of the short list. “The plan is for the next Bond is to film next year,” Ritchman wrote. “Still no director or actors attached but I hear that Aaron Pierre is also someone they are considering for Bond.”

Hollywood studios broke with longstanding tradition by casting black actors in white roles. The list of “color blind” movies include The Little Mermaid, Marvel’s Captain America, Black Panther, and Annie, to name a few.

The news was not taken well by James Bond fans – both black and white.

One outraged X user, @SirBylHolte, wrote in a post on Friday: “Whoever at AMAZON/MGM needs to hear this: Casting a black man to play WHITE BRITISH James Bond won’t give me ‘REPRESENTATION’ at all.”

Holt, who is black, added:

“It will give me RAGE. Because Bond has been around for 63 years and 27 movies. Which means EVERY HOLLYWOOD STUDIO has had exactly that long to create a similar black super-spy of their own.

THEY ALL CHOSE NOT TO.”
