Barack Obama's supporters are speaking out against him after he hosted his 60th birthday bash at his $14 million mansion during a pandemic.

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wrote a stinging opinion editorial slamming her former friend's birthday bash as an "orgy of the 1%."

Fashion critic André Leon Talley is also among Obama's allies who criticized the former president in the NY Times op-ed.

Talley compared Obama to infamous French queen Marie-Antoinette who once told starving citizens to eat cake.

"I think the nouveaux riches Obamas are seriously tone-deaf," said Talley.

"We all love Beyonce. But people have so many things to worry about with Covid, voting rights, climate warming. People are afraid of being evicted from their homes. And the Obamas are in Marie-Antoinette, tacky, let-them-eat-cake mode. They need to remember their humble roots."

Maureen Dowd stopped short of calling Obama a narcissist for hosting a party amid the surging coronavirus Delta variant:

"Barack Obama gave a big, lavish, new-money party at his sprawling mansion on the water because he wanted to seem cool. Being cool is important to him...

It’s hard to stop thinking about the over-the-top fete the former president held at his Martha’s Vineyard manse for his 60th birthday. It is such a perfect taxonomy of the Obama arc."

Celebrity guests included disgraced Atlanta power couple Tip "T.I." Harris and his long-suffering wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris, who are still under investigation on the West Coast for drugging and sexually assaulting women.

Other invited guests included fashion designer Karl Kani (pictured), Karreuche Tran, Chloe Bailey, Justin Combs and his brother Christian Combs, and more.

The birthday girl showed out in a Louis Vuitton-inspired mini skirt and spaghetti-string crop top with platform Louis Vuitton sandals. Saweetie, who was born after the Freaknik glory days, was accompanied by her two aunties who provided consulting services about twerking on top of cars down Peachtree Street.

The "Icy Girl" rapper wore bejeweled "Benjamins" rollers in a loose bun atop her head, similar to the style worn by Atlanta freaks and out-of-towners during the original Freaknik street party in Georgia. Freaknik was banned in the 1990s by the Atlanta mayor for tying up traffic on Peachtree and disrupting at least one wedding downtown.

The hip-hop star completed her look with icy diamond pendants and iced out loop earrings, and a white Louis Vuitton handbag.

Guests, including aspiring actress Karrueche Tran, were encouraged to wear 1990s styled fashions. Karrueche complied with the dress code by wearing a bandana-print outfit, complete with an impossibly short mini skirt and a crop top with matching jacket.

A 6-year-old Chicago boy wanted rapper King Von to host his birthday bash. But he's dead, so the boy's mom did the next best thing.

She mounted a life-size picture of the rapper on a cardboard stand up. Then she dressed the birthday boy just like his idol in a white tee and black shorts with a faux diamond pendant.

The boy's birthday cake featured a similar photo of the late rapper wearing a white Furberry t-shirt and black pants.

King Von was gunned down during a fistfight outside an Atlanta lounge last year.

The little boy, named Daundrea, is seen flashing a gang sign in a photo next to Von's cardboard standup -- just like his idol.

The Internet comments were brutal.

One Reddit.com user wrote: "Rest In Peace Von but damn hope that kid don't go towards that life."

Another user wrote: "this is honestly some of the dumbest sh-t I've seen in a long time he shouldn't even know who von is."

And a third wrote, "This is lack of having a dad."

Question: Would you let your 6-year-old listen to drill/trap music?

CNN wrote a scathing article, attacking Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter for hosting a maskless birthday bash at a nightclub in Atlanta over the weekend.

At the start of the Corona pandemic in the U.S. in January, Black people believed we were protected from Covid-19 because we don't have the ACE2 enzyme which the virus needs to enter human cells.

Then the left-wing media began reporting that Black people were "twice as likely" to die from Covid than any other race.

Black people never stopped partying during the pandemic -- because they don't see a body count. They party with their friends every weekend. No one they know has died or even fallen ill.

The parties continued during lockdowns. All summer long, nightclubs in wide open Atlanta were packed to the rafters with maskless partygoers enjoying their young lives.

So why did CNN's reporters attack Reginae for celebrating her birthday with her friends, when the city of Atlanta -- where CNN headquarters is based -- has been wide open all summer?

CNN writers Jamiel Lynch, who is Black, and Amanda Jackson, who is white, even quoted the mayor's office in their article: "The Mayor's advisory mask mandate and orders on gathering remain in effect... However, State Orders -- which supersede decisions made at the local level -- currently allow bars and venues to remain open," said a spokesperson for Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

The invitations have gone out for rapper Future Hendrix's private all-black birthday party. Atlanta's power couple - Future and Lori Harvey - are expected to make their public debut tonight.

The Atlanta-based auto tune rapper celebrates his 36th birthday at an undisclosed location tonight, Nov. 20. The couple sparked rumors after they were spotted at Teyana Taylor's concert in Atlanta on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Future and Lori were seen kissing and cuddling backstage, sources told theJasmineBRAND blog.

Future's security was tight that night, so no pictures were allowed backstage.

Steve Harvey's stepdaughter made headlines when she was spotted on rap mogul Sean Combs' arm. Lori and Combs denied they were dating - and, as it turns out, they weren't lying.

Lori finally got tired of seeing Combs' flirting with other young women. She unfollowed him on social media.

But sources say sparks flew when Lori met Future. The rapper has seven children by as many women, including Seattle homemaker Ciara Wilson. Don't be surprised if Lori falls pregnant with Future's 8th seed.

R&B singer Ciara Wilson, who turned 34 last week, celebrated her dad Carlton Harris's 58th birthday with a dinner party on Monday, Oct. 28.

The proud singer posted a video of the happy occasion on her Instagram stories on Monday. "58 is a great date," she said before telling her father "I love you," and giving him a peck on the cheek.

Carlton is a very supportive father who looked after his grandson, Future Zahir Wilburn, when the boy's father, rapper Future, was busy chasing skirts. Little Future now has another stable father figure in his life, Ciara's first husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.

Although Carlton was a loving father to his only daughter, he wasn't a faithful husband to his long-suffering wife, Jackie Harris (pictured right). Rumor has it that he cheated on his wife repeatedly. His infidelities led Jackie to file paperwork to end their marriage. But they remain good friends.

For that reason Ciara had a difficult time finding a stable mate because she consistently pursued the wrong, emotionally unavailable men who reminded her of her cheating father.

Happy birthday, Carlton! And we hope you celebrate many more!
