A FOX News anchor is not backing down from LGBT groups who demand that national media outlets refer to convicted traitor Bradley Manning as a 'she' or 'her'.
Manning was sentenced last week to 35 years in military prison for leaking sensitive military documents to anti-secrecy website Wikileaks. The next day, Manning announced he wanted to live his life as "a female" named Chelsea.
Through his attorney, Manning said, "I want everyone to know the real me. I am Chelsea Manning. I am a female. Given the way that I feel, and have felt since childhood, I want to begin hormone therapy as soon as possible."
Unlike the Associated Press and other media outlets where gays wield the most power, FOX News and CNN steadfastly refused to call Manning "Chelsea" or use feminine pronouns to describe him.
