The 46-year-old music producer and rapper was joined by close pals Fat Joe, Jay Z, Sean "Puffy" Combs and Khaled's son, Asahd, 5.

Khaled and his wife Nicole Tuck also share 2-year-old son Alealam.

Khaled wore an orange suit with matching Nike sneakers. His pals were dressed in black.

Khaled began his career as a DJ in Florida in the 1990s. He received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "I'm the One."

Jay Z, 52, attended the ceremony without his wife, Beyonce Knowles-Carter, 41. They have never been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beyonce's former group Destiny's Child got a Star back in 2006.

Ashanti, 41, was first discovered as a teenager and later signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. She's best known for being featured on Fat Joe's single "What's Luv?" and Ja Rule's hit "Always on Time."

Her own hit singles include "Foolish", which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard chart in 2002, "Happy", "Baby", "Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)", and "Rain On Me", all of which landed in the Top 10 on Billboard.

Ashanti's self-titled debut album has been certified triple platinum and sold six million copies worldwide.

She has produced hits for Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Ariane Grande, TLC, and more.

Lizzo tearfully told the well-heeled crowd that Missy inspired her to be the superstar she is today.

"I watched you my entire life and I saw a superstar in you, but I also saw myself and I'd never seen myself before," Lizzo told Missy. "You live so boldly and so beautifully and so unapologetically and so out loud. You have no idea what you have done for so many Black girls."

Holding back tears, Lizzo continued:

"We don't deserve you. We don't deserve Missy Elliott and still you continue to give to us. You've given and given and given with your heart, your genius ... I want to thank you so much for helping me and my career ... thank you for making my dreams come true, Missy. You have no idea what you mean to all of us. We love you, we celebrate you, god bless you."

Missy's close pal, Ciara, also held back tears as she shared her love and respect for Missy. Musicians Janet Jackson, Busta Rhymes, Janelle Monae and LL Cool J sent video tributes to Missy.

Character actress Marla Gibbs is "doing great" after nearly fainting during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Tuesday, July 20.

The 90-year-old actress sparked concern among fans watching on the livestream, as she closed her eyes and stopped speaking mid-speech.

Her son rushed onto the stage to hold his mother up, while nearby staff got her a chair. After she sat down, a cheer erupted from the audience.

The livestream ended as Gibbs appeared to recover from her fainting spell.

Following the ceremony, a representative for The Jeffersons actress told Entertainment Weekly that Gibbs was momentarily overcome by the sweltering heat during the ceremony.

The temperature climbed to 88 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of her speech.

However, the spokesperson added that Gibbs is now "doing great” and had a "great time at the after-party".

Meanwhile, Ana Martinez - a producer for the Walk of Fame - told the outlet that Gibbs was well enough to take photographs and conduct interviews with media after the ceremony.

Also attending the ceremony were The Jeffersons creator Norman Lear, actress Berlinda Tolbert, who played Jenny Willis on The Jeffersons, and actress Tisha Campbell (right).

Gibbs starred as feisty housekeeper Florence Johnston on The Jeffersons from 1975 to 1985. She is also famous for playing Mary Jenkins on the sitcom 227 (1985-1990).

50 Cent faked being overcome by his emotions during the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month.

The "In Da Club" rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, received the 2,686th star, and was saluted at the ceremony by his longtime collaborators and mentors, Dr. Dre and Eminem, as well as his girlfriend Jamira Haines (pictured above), and co-stars LaLa Anthony and Joseph Sikora, comedian Michael Blackmon and more.

During the special presentation, 50 stepped up to the podium to thank his guests for their support, and he appeared to fight back tears as he paused and took deep breaths midway through his speech. Fiddy later admitted he faked his emotions to win "cool points" on social media.

The 44-year-old rapper and actor admits he was nervous ahead of the Walk of Fame ceremony, but the big emotional moment, which prompted the crowd to cheer him on, was just for dramatic effect, because he thought it would make him look cool, WENN.com reported.

50 also said he didn't prepare his speech in advance, so pretending to grow emotional helped to buy him time.

He confessed that expressing his emotions doesn't come easily - which is typical of sociopaths such as narcissists.

"I was working on that... to be emotional...," he told ABC's The View. "And when I got there, I knew that when I was really under pressure, that I should just (pause and pretend to take a few breaths)... and I knew that that would give me just a little bit of cool points for getting emotional at that point."

The media mogul said he regrets not being more prepared for his big moment.

He told daytime talk show Strahan, Sara & Keke: "I wasn't really excited about it until everybody was there, until they had Em and Dre... and I was like, 'Yo, I shoulda wrote something down!'"
