Singer Tank praised Kelly Rowland and called her "by far one of the most talented females I've ever worked with in my life."

He also said Destiny's Child was created to worship and adore Beyonce.

Tank made the statements in a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast. He believes Kelly, with whom he collaborated, was overlooked by then-manager Mathew Knowles, who wanted to elevate his daughter, Beyonce.

Robin L Marshall/Getty Images

"You have no idea. I had no idea. [Kelly is] one of the best of us," said Tank. “I worked with Kelly Rowland and I was completely thrown the f--k off because we always want to give the credit to Beyonce, who is Beyonce? Kelly Rowland is by far one of the most talented females I've ever worked with in my life."

He admitted that he originally thought Destiny's Child was being carried by Beyonce — until he worked with Kelly in the studio and realized she was more talented than Bey.

"I was sitting in the studio like 'Do y'all hear these harmonies?" Tank said, referring to Kelly.

"Do you hear her voice? The texture, the changes, and dynamics... are y'all hearing this?' I never knew! I gave all the credit to Beyonce. That's how the business of Destiny's Child was set up: to adore Beyonce."

Marsai Martin is making major moves for a child. She is currently in Atlanta working on her latest project, a film titled "Fantasy Football."

The movie, starring Kelly Rowland, Omari Hardwick and Rome Flynn, is about 16-year-old Callie A. Coleman (Martin) who discovers she can control her professional football player dad, Bobby Coleman (Hardwick), on the field through the EA Sports Madden NFL game.

Grammy winner Rowland plays Keisha Coleman, Callie's mom, while Emmy winner Flynn ("How to Get Away With Murder") plays Anderson Fisher, according to Variety.

Martin, who found fame on ABC's sitcom Black-ish, is the film's producer, in partnership with LeBron James and Maverick Carter's SpringHill Company.

Did I mention Marsai Martin is only 17 years old? She's not even a college graduate.

The producer writes checks for an entire movie production (actor's salaries, crew, locations, craft services, etc.).

Jada Pinkett Smith has a warning for fake friends who pretend to be her allies.

In a video on her Instagram page, Jada sent a cryptic warning to the "lion" who lied to her.

"It's the ones, it's the allies. It's the ones that are standing right next to you -- who look to you and nod to you as if they got your back and they're on your side.

"And they nod to you like they're ready to charge. And you look over and you nod back. And you guys start charging towards the other side together. And that joker takes out their sword and cuts your throat. Those are the tricky ones."

Jada added:

"You are doing yourself the greatest disservice by excusing that behavior. By letting it slide and by ignoring what that represents... I see fire on the horizon. So that means it's gon' be some smoke. But I'm ready. I'm ready."

She captioned the video: "Make sure that those who claim to be allies are truuuuuue...
Love."

Jada's celebrity friends -- concerned that she might be referring to one of them -- chimed in.

Singer, actress Kelly Rowland wrote in the comments:

"Can someone PLEASE pass around the offering bucket! This woman just gave us a heart felt word!! Thank you Jada!"

And actor and family friend Duane Martin wrote: "BARS," followed by three fire emojis.

Kelly Rowland has urged women to ignore men who just want them for sex.

Kelly, who has two minor sons with husband Tim Weatherspoon, was appalled when a friend told her a man wanted her to wait to have a baby so she can stay sexy longer.

The 40-year-old former Destiny's Child star insists she feels sexier than ever now that she's a mom.

"It's so funny because I heard a girlfriend of mine told me - a man told her, 'Make sure you have your babies way later in life, because after you have a baby, you won't feel sexy'," Kelly tells NBC's Access Daily.

"And I was like, 'You should never say that to anyone'. J.Lo, Beyonce, all of these different women are having children and they're thriving, they're gorgeous, they're stronger than ever. Yeah, so that no longer needs to be anywhere in a discussion at all."

Women's Health

Kelly Rowland is expecting her second child with her husband Tim Weatherspoon.

The former Destiny's Child singer told Women's Health magazine that she and Weatherspoon had discussed potentially having another child when the Covid-19 pandemic happened, at which point they decided to, "see what happens".

Kelly is already mother to 5-year-old son Titan Weatherspoon.

The 39-year-old added that she was nervous about sharing her happy news considering the high-risk of having a baby while pushing 40.

She is also concerned about the fading coronavirus pandemic and the upcoming U.S. presidential election. "But you still want to remind people that life is important. And being able to have a child," she told Women's Health. "I'm knocking at 40's door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me."

Kelly has been taking regular yoga classes, as well as walking and stretching alongside a physical therapist. And while she's been craving chocolate and peanut butter, she's managed to maintain the majority of her healthy diet - which includes drinking four liters of water per day.

The singer revealed her pregnancy by showing off her growing baby bump on the cover of the publication. Her baby is due later this year.

Kelly Rowland admits the constant comparisons to Beyonce Knowles Carter, were "Torture."

Kelly, who was rumored to be Beyonce's half-sister, said Beyonce continues to rent space in her head.

"Can you imagine what it's like being in a group with Beyonce?" she asked a Voice Australia contestant.

The Destiny's Child singer said she tortured herself because she didn't measure up to DC's leggy blonde lead singer.

Speaking candidly about her life-long relationship with Bey, the 39-year-old Aquarius said she was intimated by Beyonce, also 39, because she thought of herself as an ugly duckling.

The moment of self-reflection occurred when Voice Australia Contestant Chris Sebastian said he was concerned about being outshined by his brother, Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian.

Kirby Lee/WireImage)

"I know this feeling," said Kelly, pictured far left with Farah Franklin, Beyonce and Michelle Williams. "Can you imagine what it's like being in a group with Beyonce? I would torture myself in my head."

Kelly said the brutal self-comparisons to Beyonce impacted her career and hurt her feelings of self-worth.

"I would be lying if I said no, it's never bothered me. That's bull. There was a whole decade, if I am being completely honest, a decade, where it was like the elephant in the room. It was the thing that would constantly be on my shoulder."

The mom-of-one said she struggled all her life to keep up with Beyonce, who had No. 1 hit singles after she left the group.

She said Beyonce's dominance on the charts caused her to rethink every step she took in her career - right down to her wardrobe.

Kelly said picking out her wardrobe was a chore because she would think: "'I can't wear this dress because they're going to say it's like B.' Or, 'I can't have a song like that because it sounds too much like B.'"

Kelly has never had a No. 1 hit single outside of Destiny's Child.

Kelly Rowland is doing everything in her power to ensure her son Titan's childhood is more "stable" than her own.

The 39-year-old single mom grew up as the daughter of Doris who left Kelly's abusive alcoholic father, Christopher, when Kelly was six years old.

Doris then took on a job as a nanny to make ends meet for Kelly, but the disruptive nature of the role meant the former Destiny's Child star felt insecure as a child.

Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images

Now that she is single, having split from her estranged husband, Tim Weatherspoon, last year, Kelly is determined to ensure her 5-year-old son Titan has a happy and secure childhood.

"I felt like as a kid, my mom had this job - she was a nanny," Kelly told Extra TV. "That moved her around a lot... I just wanted it to be stable a little more. With him - he doesn't really have to want for anything."

Titan's father, Tim, is still a big part of his life -- which is very important -- but Kelly has primary custody of her son since she is the main breadwinner.

"I'm working my butt off for [Titan], and his life is going to be different from mine, period," Kelly told Extra TV.

Kelly home schools Titan while schools are closed during the coronavirus pandemic. But the job is much harder than she ever anticipated. The "Coffee" singer laughs that teachers definitely need a raise once the lockdown is over.

"I'm scratching my head, because sometimes you go through that whole phase, 'I'm not a teacher, oh, I'm doing good at this, no, I don't have the patience for this.' Teachers need a raise, so many things!" she said.

Mathew Knowles claims members of R&B group Jagged Edge sexually harassed his daughters Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland when they toured together in the nineties.

Mathew made the shocking allegations in an exclusive interview with DJ Vlad, of Vladtv.com. No charges were ever filed against the two group members.

Mathew, who was Destiny's Child's music manager, said the harassment occurred when Destiny's Child and Jagged Edge toured together in the nineties.

Mathew, 67, said he acted swiftly when Beyonce and Kelly called him from the tour bus to complain that two of the boys were "constantly" sexually harassing them.

"I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé ... saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members in Jagged Edge," he said. "I couldn't have that. I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana."

"Now, remember the girls are minors: They're 16-years-old, the guys are 21- and 22-years-old," said Mathew, who is promoting his new book, Destiny's Child: The Untold Story.

Jagged Edge, who were signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records, are best known for their hit songs including "I Gotta Be", "He Don't Love U", and "Let's Get Married." The group is comprised of twin lead singers Brandon and Brian Casey and sex symbols Kyle Norman and Richard Wingo.

Mathew didn't specify which members of Jagged Edge harassed the Destiny's Child members, who were popular for their harmonious singing and scantily dressed performances.

Mathew said he acted within his fiduciary duty to stop the harassment, as a music manager.

"I have a fiduciary duty with minors, by the law, there's a certain way I have to manage that."

He said the incident "began all this drama" that resulted in Destiny's Child members LaTavia Roberson and LaToya Luckett acquiring new management and leaving the group in 2000.

He said he received a certified letter from a lawyer acting as the "interim manager" for LaTavia (pictured left) and LaToya (not pictured).

Mathew responded that LaTavia and LaToya contributed only 5% of the vocals to the group - and, ultimately, they were gone from the group.
