Ciara (right) began singing lyrics from Tony Toni Tone's hit song "Lay Your Head On My Pillow."

She sang, "Lay your head on my pillow and just relax," as Monica rested her head on Vanessa's bosom.

Monica sent her Instagram followers into a frenzy when she posted a video of herself casually laying in bed with a gun.

The R&B singer is laying in a hotel bed watching a TV program on HLN while listening to a man discuss women who are fans of crime shows and serial killer documentaries.

The male voice on the program says:

"All I'm saying is there are women all over the place that watch serial killers documentaries for fun and literally fall asleep to true crime murder podcasts because it helps them to relax. The concept of murder helps her to relax — and you wanna play with her feelings?"

Monica shows her gun on the bed and smirks at the camera as if to say "play with my feelings if you want to."

Monica has a concealed carry permit and her gun is always within reach.

She captioned the video "PDFPWM."

Grammy Award-nominated artist James Fortune guessed that the acronym meant, "Please don't forget to pray with me."

Monica is currently dating incarcerated rapper Corey "C-Murder" Miller. They allegedly got back together after she divorced former NBA star Shannon Brown in 2019.

R&B singer Monica Arnold reacted to a white reporter who criticized Black celebrities at the 2022 CMT Awards.

The country music CMT Awards was co-hosted by actor Anthony Mackie and featured live performances by Jimmie Allen and Monica.

Reporter Patrick Howley, who is white, complained about non-white artists at the Nashville awards show.

"There were so many Black people there," Howley said. "Sorry to say, but so many Black celebrities who have nothing to do with country music and it's, like, why?"

He also criticized Mackie for hosting the CMT Awards.

"I don't know who this Black guy who's hosting it. It's supposed to be country music. No offense. I mean, y'all have hip-hop and basketball... Just fly with your flock, bro."

He added: "No disrespect to the funky brothers. I love Earth Wind and Fire, Run DMC, etc. But country music's different... It's not Wakanda."

Monica was offended by Howley's comments. The mom-of-three had time to address Howley's divisive statements on her Instagram page.

"I've never been more motivated.. Patrick Howley, although your feelings are likely shared by some, it's NOT by the masses!" she wrote.

"I have an all star LEGENDARY team of true country artist that are currently working with me that would beg to differ ! Because of the genuine hearts of @lesliefram1 & @cmt ... I shared the stage w/ @jimmieallen & @littlebigtown …This was the first of many times that you will see me! I see You caught that my skin is melanated, but you missed that it was tough! I’m rooted in the word & built to last ! See you soon, or should I say “Welcome to Wakanda” gracefully bows w/ @anthonymackie
"OPEN ROADS COMING SOON" MDA."

Monica's 16-year-old son, Rodney Ramone "Rocko" Hill III left a comment on her post, writing: "we let the hate motivate."

Rohan Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, wrote: "Should have 'will smith his ass.'"

While Mary Mary singer Erica Campbell wrote: "We Are Here sir deal with it!"

Monica is not hiding the fact that she is in love with incarcerated rapper C-Murder. The mom-of-three shared an Instagram photo of her jailhouse visit with C-Murder on Easter Sunday.

In the photo Monica is seen seated between C-Murder's legs while he embraces her at the Louisiana State Penitentiary.

The rapper, real name Corey Miller, was convicted of killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2009. He will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Monica is apparently confident that she knows where her man is at all times. She has trust issues after both of her marriages ended in divorce due to cheating.

Monica, 41, released her debut album Miss Thang in 1995. Her hit songs include "Before You Walk Out of My Life", "Don't Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)", "Like This and Like That", "The Boy Is Mine" (with Brandy), "The First Night", "Angel of Mine", and "So Gone."

While married to former NBA player Shannon Brown, she starred in her own reality TV series Monica: Still Standing on BET. Monica and Shannon divorced in 2019. They share daughter Laiyah Brown.

Monica also has two sons, Rodney Ramone "Rocko" Hill III, 16, and Romelo Montez Hill, 14, with rapper and music producer Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr.

Miller, 51, is best known for his debut album Life or Death which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Twitter responded to Monica's jailhouse photo.

According to Power 96.1 radio, a white reporter mocked Black artists performing at the CMT Music Awards on Monday, April 11.

The CMT Awards features fan-voted country music videos and live performances and is broadcast annually on the CMT Channel based in Nashville, Tennessee.

In an effort to be more inclusive of other cultures, the CMT Awards invited Black performers in recent years.

The CMT Awards 2022 featured performances by Jimmie Allen (L) and R&B singer Monica, and was co-hosted by actor Anthony Mackie.

Reporter Patrick Howley, who is white, complained about Black artists at the awards show.

"There were so many Black people there," Howley said. "Sorry to say, but so many Black celebrities who have nothing to do with country music and it's, like, why?"

"I don't know who this Black guy who's hosting it. It's supposed to be country music. No offense. I mean, y'all have hip-hop and basketball... Just fly with your flock, bro."

Howley played a tape of Mackie hosting the CMT Awards and imitated a Black accent to mock the actor: "The melanated people invented country music! We was making country music in Wakanda before Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard done stole the Black man's country music!"

After his comments drew backlash on Twitter, Howley claimed he isn't racist because he listens to Black music.

"No disrespect to the funky brothers," he continued. "I love Earth Wind and Fire, Run DMC, etc. But country music's different... It's not Wakanda."

18 former NBA players have been arrested and charged with defrauding the NBA's health and welfare benefit plan out of $4 million, federal prosecutors say.

Shannon Brown, pictured with ex-wife Monica Arnold in 2015, was indicted on October 7 by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York on charges of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and wire fraud.

Brown, 35, retired from the NBA in 2018 after 12 seasons. Monica, 40, divorced him a year later.

17 other former NBA players, including Sebastian Telfair, Glen "Big Baby" Davis and Darius Miles, were also charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and wire fraud.

Federal prosecutors say the retired NBA stars filed fraudulent insurance claims for reimbursement to the tune of $4 million. Of that amount, the players took in $2.5 million, according to prosecutors.

The drug charges against Davis were later dropped in exchange for a plea deal.

Rapper C-Murder is giving hope to single mother Monica Arnold as she waits patiently for him to be released from prison.

Monica and her bestie Kim Kardashian-West are petitioning to get C-Murder, real name Corey Miller, out of prison.

The 49-year-old gangsta rapper was convicted in 2009 of the shooting death of a 16-year-old fan at a nightclub in Louisiana. Corey maintained his innocence but was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

Corey has a plethora of women waiting patiently for him to get out of prison.

Prince Williams/Wireimage

According to Rhymeswithsnitch, Corey just let his harem know that Monica is his head concubine.

In a post on Instagram wishing Monica a happy 40th birthday, C-Murder told her this is the last birthday she will celebrate without him in her arms and that "you will get everything you deserve" once he's freed.

Isn't that romantic? No, Monica did not write that post herself.

Monica divorced former NBA star Shannon Brown after he grew tired of waiting at home for her to return from visiting Corey in prison.

The internet is debating whether singer Monica rocked a hand-sewn imitation Fendi outfit for her Versuz battle with former nemesis Brandy Norwood.

Lipstick Alley denizens and gossipmongers spent hours picking apart Monica's outfit down to the stitching.

They zoomed in on the loose threads and what appeared to be part of a zipper sticking out of her top.

Verzuz viewers must have thought the outfit was authentic Fendi. They called the Atlanta store the next morning hoping to purchase it. But store employees broke the bad news that the outfit wasn't an original Fendi look.

What gave it away? Maybe it was the slipshod handiwork of whomever Monica hired to stitch the outfit together.

One LA denizen wrote, "She needs to come up to nyc and visit dapper dan....no shade tho."

Another wrote: "They were calling Fendi for this? Monica looked a mess. Those colors are not good for 'tv'. And the all over print? Come on now, Mo. Not even going to touch Brandy’s choices..."

And a third wrote: "Not saying its real or fake but why would someone like Monica wear fake fendi on something that would have alot of viewers?? That stitching is looking sus tho. And then what's that black piece sticking out?"

Brandy Norwood (left) and her arch nemesis Monica will face off against one another on Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's next online Verzuz battle.

The two R&B singers, who topped the charts in 1998 with their smash hit "The Boy Is Mine," will face each other for the latest installment of the popular web series on August 31.

"#History," Brandy wrote on her account. "Thank you @monicadenise and @verzuztv for making this happen. Let's celebrate!!!!"

"This will be historical," Monica noted on her own account. "It's an honor @brandy."

Monica (right) then encouraged fans to send in their requests:

"What songs would you all like to see us bring to @verzuztv !! Celebrating these catalogs is for the culture with love! From Young Women to Adult Women we've been with y'all! Name the songs you love."

The news comes amid drama between Monica and rap mogul Master P who dragged the mother-of-three for interfering in his brother Corey Miller's murder case.

Miller, 49, was convicted in 2009 of the shooting death of a 16-year-old fan at a nightclub in Louisiana. Miller maintained his innocence but was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

While Master P thanked social justice activist Kim Kardashian for her efforts to secure his brother's freedom, he called out Monica for using his family for clicks and views.

Master P, born Percy Robert Miller, 55, took to social media to apparently shade Monica for jumping on the No Limit Chronicles bandwagon.

Master P called out "fake people" trying to jump on the bandwagon to free his brother Corey Miller after his No Limit Chronicles on BET renewed interest in his brother's murder case.

Kim Kardashian-West teamed up with Miller's former flame, singer Monica Arnold to help free Miller from prison.

But Master P wasn't impressed with the attention-seeking celebrities efforts.

Master P paid tribute to his grandmother, "Big Mama" who put her house up as collateral for Miller's $1 million bond the first time he went to jail.

"I put my trust in God, this is my angel. The lady that put the house up for my brother the first time he went to jail that I paid for. This is not about money. He needed property that was worth at least a million in Louisiana as collateral. RIP Big Mama you will never be forgotten #FreeCoreyMiller We work so hard to change his name back to Corey Miller, then these fake people use Cmurder again. The system [convicted] him on his name and lyrics. The only way to get back in front of the board is to show change and growth. The truth always prevails. No weapon formed against us shall prosper, every lying tongue that rises against us, Father God You shall condemn.

Kim Kardashian is using her considerable political connections to help free incarcerated rapper C-Murder, real name Corey Miller.

After new evidence allegedly came to light, the reality TV star and lawyer-in-training Kim, 39, has turned her attention to freeing the 49-year-old who is best known as the love of singer Monica's life.

According to insiders, Monica reached out to Kim via private message on Twitter and pleaded with her to help free her man.

C-Murder is pictured in 2006 with a former girlfriend in his native New Orleans.

The former rapper, brother of rap mogul Master P, was convicted in 2009 of the shooting of 16-year-old fan Steve Thomas at a nightclub. He maintained his innocence but was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

Miller was released from prison on house arrest in 2003 after Judge Martha Sassone granted a new trial based on the claim that prosecutors withheld key information.

But Judge Sassone lost her 2008 bid for re-election to Judge Ellen Kovach, who reviewed a prosecutor’s request to send Miller back to jail.

In 2009, while still on house arrest, Miller was convicted of second-degree murder and sentence to life in prison.

Two witnesses have since recanted their testimony, saying their witness statements were coerced by investigators.

"The jury convicted Corey 10-2 and he was sentenced to life in prison. If his trial was today, the jury would have had to be unanimous for him to be convicted," Kim tweeted on Sunday.

NurPhoto via Getty Images

"Since his trial, witnesses have recanted, new evidence of his potential innocence has come to light, and there are claims of jurors being pressured into voting to convict," Kim tweeted. "True justice for the young man requires that the person who actually killed him be held responsible and that Corey Miller be returned home to his kids."

She added that she's teaming up with Monica, who previously dated Miller, in a bid to prove his innocence.

"Corey deserves to come home to his girls and be the father they need, be the artist & leader he's always been as well as spread hope to those who have also experienced this," Monica said in a post on her Instagram page.
