Offensive receipt

A low wage Burger King employee is out of a job after apparently giving a grandmother and her daughter-in-law a receipt with the words "B*tch a*s h*es" on it.

The receipt was given to the two women at the drive-thru of a Richmond, Va., Burger King on Saturday, reports.

Miss Lorel, who did not want her last name published, told the station she read the receipt and immediately returned to the Burger King to speak with the manager.

“He did apologize. He also called the young lady over and asked her, ‘did you see this?’ She just shook her head. He said it had never happened before,” said Miss Lorel.

“This is more than an insult. I mean calling you names on a piece of a paper, that will hurt somebody,” said a tearful Miss Lorel. “I liked going there. But after this they won’t get my business anymore.”

“We are obviously upset by the harm this has caused one of our customers,” franchise owner John Naparlo said.

Naparlo said surveillance video would help determine which cashier was responsible for the receipt.

A Burger King spokesman later told the Huffington Post that the employee had been terminated.

But readers believe the grandmother and the employee may have been in cahoots.
