Kanye West is defying President Trump's request to drop out of the 2020 presidential race to avoid allegations that Trump and West are colluding against Democratic challenger Joe Biden.

TMZ reports West has filed with the Federal Election Commission -- declaring that the Kanye 2020 committee will serve as the "Principal Campaign Committee" with West as its candidate.

West's independent party is listed on the form as BDY ... which stands for The Birthday Party.

According to TMZ, West has yet to file the more important Form 2 -- Statement of Candidacy -- which shows he's raised or spent more than $5,000 in campaign activity and triggers candidacy status under federal campaign finance law.

Earlier, West ended his bid for the presidency, allegedly after receiving a call from his pal Trump asking him to drop out.

The 43-year-old rapper announced his intention to run for president on July 4. Democrats immediately accused West of conspiring with Trump to help him siphon off Democratic votes.

According to New York Magazine's Intelligencer magazine, Steve Kramer confirmed the Yeezy rapper won't be running against Trump and Joe Biden for the POTUS position.

"He's out," Kramer said, according to the publication.

When asked for more details on what had happened, Kramer replied: "I'll let you know what I know once I get all our stuff canceled. We had over 180 people out there today."

But Washington insiders say Trump called West and convinced him to drop out of the race because his campaign was hampered by the controversy surrounding West.

"Trump asked him to drop out, so Kanye's out," said the insider.

West reportedly took out a PPP loan for $2 million to pay his staff. He later donated that money to the daughter of George Floyd.

Kanye West dropped out of the 2020 U.S. presidential race - after a heart-to-heart talk with President Donald Trump.

According to Washington insiders, Trump convinced his good friend to drop out of the race because the publicity surrounding West's run was negatively impacting his own campaign.

The 43-year-old rapper announced his intention to run for president two weeks ago. Democrats immediately accused West of conspiring with Trump to help him siphon off Democratic votes.

"So Trump got Kanye to try to split the Black vote," tweeted @DrBFPalmer on July 5.

And @JB93621 tweeted: "Yep gonna try and split young votes from Biden and help his buddy trump get re-elected."

"He's out," Kramer said, according to the publication.

The election strategist added: "I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye. Everyone has their personal decision about why they make decisions."

Kramer joined West's campaign team to get the rapper on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina.

But Washington insiders say Trump called West and convinced him to drop out of the race because his campaign was hampered by the controversy surrounding West.

"Trump asked him to drop out, so Kanye's out," said the insider.

West tried to put some distance between himself and Trump by claiming he no longer supported the president after he "caught wind that he hid in the bunker" during the Black Lives Matter uprising in Washington, D.C. last month.

Trump, 73, brushed aside news that West was gunning for his job in a recent chat with Fox News' Sean Hannity. The president expressed confidence that his job was safe.

"He is always going to be for us, and his wife is going to be for us," Trump said, referring to the rapper and reality TV star Kim Kardashian West.

"[He's a] very good guy. He is a person that I get along with very well," Trump said. "At the end I think he would support us over anyone else, we have to stop the radical left from taking over our country."

Tesla boss Elon Musk, who was West's campaign adviser, reportedly also asked the rapper to drop out of the race. Musk later said West wasn't ready to run for president until 2024.

Kanye West is done with President Trump. In an interview with Forbes magazine to promote his campaign for president, Kanye revealed he was "severely ill" with COVID-19 in February.

"I am taking the red hat off with this interview," said the father-of-4, referring to the red MAGA hat he wore during his trips to visit Trump at the White House.

Kanye, 43, is confident his name will be on the ballots as an independent this fall, even though he's missed the filing deadline in most states.

"I'm speaking with experts, I'm going to speak with Jared Kushner, the White House, with Biden," he says.

Referring to former friend, Trump, Kanye said he's lost confidence in the president. "It looks like one big mess to me. I don't like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker."

He dismissed rumors that he is running to help re-elect Trump by siphoning Democratic votes from Biden. Kanye said he isn't worried about Biden, who reportedly suffers from senile dementia.

"I'm not saying Trump's in my way, he may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on man, please. You know? Obama's special. Trump's special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special."

As for the platform he plans to run on, Kanye said he wants to bring Wakanda to the United States. Wakanda is the fictional technologically advanced kingdom in the film Black Panther.

"A lot of Africans do not like the movie and representation of themselves in...Wakanda," he says. "But I'm gonna use the framework of Wakanda right now because it's the best explanation of what our design group is going to feel like in the White House..."

"Let's get back to Wakanda," he continued. "Like in the movie in Wakanda when the king went to visit that lead scientist to have the shoes wrap around her shoes. Just the amount of innovation that can happen, the amount of innovation in medicine-like big pharma-we are going to work, innovate, together."

Kanye West recently bragged that he was a billionaire. But watchdog groups are questioning why Kanye received $5 million in small business loans.

They say Kanye's PPP loan is a conflict of interest, given his vocal support of President Trump and his visits to the White House.

According to the Dailybeast.com, Kanye received a multi-million-dollar loan as part of the federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help small businesses retain their employees and pay their utilities.

Kanye, who recently announced he is running for president, is among a list of millionaires and billionaires who took advantage of the federal program that was intended to help small businesses.

Kanye West and Chic-Fil-A are feeding the hungry during the coronavirus pandemic. Kanye's charitable collaboration with the fast food giant has helped provide over 300,000 meals to the needy in Los Angeles.

The hip-hop superstar namechecked the fast food firm in his 2019 track "Closed On Sunday," and he partnered with them to help Christian non-profit the Los Angeles Dream Center provide food and other items to those in need since March.

According to Fox News, Dream Center founder Matthew Barnett thanked Kanye and the firm for helping him and his team serve around 11,000 meals a day since first receiving donations - transforming the organization into a hub for those in financial difficulty due to Covid-19.

"The Los Angeles Dream Center has transformed into the Grand Central Station of food distribution and other basic essentials," Barnett told Fox in a statement. "I'm so grateful that our team has stayed healthy, and that we've found a safe way to meet the urgent needs within our community.

"I can't say thank you enough to the various donors who've made this a reality. This is what a neighborhood, a community, and a church should always look like."

The "Jesus Walks" rapper has also made donations to the We Women Empowered charity in his native Chicago, Illinois.

Kanye West has backed out of pastor Joel Osteen's virtual Easter concert over safety concerns for his Sunday Service choir.

The 42-year-old rapper had been slated to join actor/director Tyler Perry and singer Mariah Carey for Osteen's remote holiday Easter worship service, which will be livestreamed from his Lakewood megachurch in Houston, Texas on Easter Sunday, April 12.

The original plan called for the choir to wear face masks and maintain social distancing while recording songs with Kanye for the gig, but the "Jesus Walks" rapper decided that he could not satisfy his artistic expectations and safety concerns with these arrangements, so he called off the appearance, TMZ reports.

TMZ adds discussions were ongoing up until Good Friday, but the "Jesus is King" star ultimately couldn't make his plan work to his satisfaction.

The Easter Sunday service will be broadcast live over Osteen's megachurch feed at Joelosteen.com at both 9.30am EST and 12pm EST.

North performed her own cover of ZaZa's viral hit "What I Do". And while she's only six-years-old, Zaza's parents felt that Kim should have stepped up and given credit to their daughter.

Following the show, ZaZa's parents responded on her Instagram page, writing:

"In July of 2019, ZaZa & her dad went into the studio for the ultimate experience! To finally begin making the music she wanted to make. We take PRIDE in creativity, and believe whether a child’s involved or an adult… creativity deserves RESPECT/homage! What @kimkardashian (Kanye west) are doing with their daughter… with the inspiration of ZaZa & our family in mind is okay… we not mad BUT… PLS SHOW LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!!!"

They added: "We admire Kanye west, and adore his journey. However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED."

Kim responded in a comment on the Instagram post, writing:

"We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Today’s performance of North’s remix of ZaZa’s song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon."
