Did 50 Cent’s baby mama torch his home?
That’s the question fire investigators are wondering today after Fiddy’s Long Island home burned to the ground last night.
According to an article in today’s NY Post, the case is being referred to the arson squad “because of the intensity of the fire, and also being that who belongs to the house.”
- The blaze occurred just days after a heated confrontation inside the woman’s attorney’s office over the home. 50 Cent does not live in the home and apparently wasn’t there at the time.
Six people inside the Dix Hills home were taken to a hospital suffering smoke inhalation. Police later said they were treated and released. A firefighter also suffered a minor eye injury, officials said.
Investigators from the Suffolk County arson squad were called to the scene after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze suspicious. The fire was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was extinguished about 45 minutes later, Feld said.

this could go either way..either 50 had someone do it cuz she’s pissing him off where it can’t be traced back to him or she did it to frame him..she doesn’t want to leave so her actually setting the fire wouldn’t be in her best interest unless she was trying to get back at 50..she’s trifling so I could see it happening..all of this is too coincidental
damnnnn…50 and his baby momma need to resolved their differences b4 someone gets hurt…i read about this and how she threaten to call the police if he picked the boy up from a sporting event (a game or pratice)…supposedly he hasn’t seen the boy since a decision was made to evict them from the house…

i think she did it, didnt she get the eviction order? because the house belongs to 50 from what i know, i may be wrong but i think thats one of 50 cent houses, he actually lives in connecticut, hmmm…..if she did it she`s going to face the music big time!
How do you figure she did it, when it happened 5 in the morning and her and her son where home and had to be rescued? 50 talks to much and has too many enemies.

Shaniqua might have motive to burn down the house, but why would she do it while her and her child were in the house. I don’t know all the details, but this seems like an accident.
50 wanted her azz out so he took it to the next level, but with her asking for more money she could of did it out of hate. Who knows????????
Shanekia(sp) starting this blaze would not be as farfetched as you would think..I don’t think she did it personally but she could have told someone to do it not realizing the magnitude of the blaze but just enough so it could look like it was done to get her out of the house. The smoke inhalation was the icing on the cake she didn’t bargain for..I don’t see 50 doing this because his son is in the house..It’s already proven she’s money hungry and their son is a bragaining chip for her, so Marquis welfare is not in her best interest..but then we can throw all of this out and say Fat Joe did it..who knows

My opinion: HER BOYFRIEND DID IT! She had her man living with her in his home and they’re mad because they were evicted. She hasn’t let him see his son since…then she threatens to call the po-po’s if he pick’s his kid up from a game, THEN her man and his homie’s try to provoke Fitty into a fight (probably to sue for money)….GO FIGURE!

If she did she deserves to go to jail that is insane and someone could have been killed.I’m about sick of her lazy behind,what did she want a free ride for the rest of her life.A 19 yr old teen set a fire here in Houston b/c he was mad at another teen and he ended up killing a disabled woman who could not get out in time. People do not even think about things before they do them.BTW I don’t think that 50 is above doing something like this either, he’s not that evolved.

Who ever did it will most likely get caught…I stay on my forensic science and it doesnt take much to figure out what happended, also a lot of people think the evidence gets burned in the fire and they are truelly mistaken.

WHY I THINK SHE and BOYFRIEND DID IT:
I think she did it b/c she is a baby mama with the mentality that “he ain’t gone git sh!t if I can’t get it”. She mapped out a plan to have them start a fire, but not where she and the child and the boyfriend weren’t able to get out safely. But you know Ray-Ray and Pookie and nem had to go get liquored up and weeded out before they could do anything “properly”, got the munchies, feel asleep and woke up past the designated “fire startin’” time. Baby mama and nem fell asleep waiting and thus you have the rescue and smoke inhalation fiasco.
WHY I THINK 50 DID IT:
He ain’t got sh!t to lose. He gets them out of his house and the insurance money. It’s a win-win situation for him.

The fire has been claimed not definate, but arson by the fire fighters. An Insuance Company will not fork over the money just because you paid your premiums. There will be a thorough investigation. I don’t believe 50 had anything to do with it. No(sane)parent is going to risk the welfare of their child in this manner over an eviction.

The lawyer for 50 Cent’s baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkins, tells TMZ that she heard “someone” come into the house this morning at 4 AM, shortly before the fire broke out around a hour later.
Paul Catsandonis, Shaniqua’s lawyer, tells us that his client is “traumatized” by the fire and that the kids are similarly in total shock. Six people, including Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise, were in the house. They all were transported to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.

I was reading another blog and the write up inferred that Shaniqua was trying to place blame on 50. Now, I am no 50 fan but that defies logic. 50 has been winning in court against her not to mention 50 has a lot going on in terms of $. He may not be the most mature brother but he’s a hustler; making that money; he had no reason to burn down his own home. Shaniqua has clearly shown through her actions and demands that she’s not the most stable minded person so if there was foul play, they need to look at Shaniqua and her boy friend.

there are some ridiculous comments in here…..first of all if 50 had decided to burn his own property down he would at least made sure his son was not in the house…..the six people inside were, baby mama, her two kids, an aunt and a cousin and her child. no mention of boyfriend. maybe she had an arguement with boyfriend or kicked him out and he came back to torch the place. i don’t even think she would have anything to do with it if she was in the house when the fire started. 50 has many enemies, i notice a lot in here, maybe one of them did it. being hateful and evil will make one do something stupid thinking they are getting at that person. hey who knows maybe game did it….he had went to 50’s house before and distroyed some of his property and 50 never pressed charges…..anyone could have done it so stop pointing fingers at 50. 50 is doing all of his fighting the right way…….in court.

Fiddy did not torch the house with his son in it, no reason to.
