Michelle Obama referred to Barack as her baby’s daddy
The black community is enraged by a comment made by FOX news referring to Michelle Obama as a “baby mama”. But few remember when Michelle Obama referred to Barack as her “baby’s daddy” on the night he won his Senate seat in 2004.
What’s the difference between baby’s daddy and baby mama? The only difference I see is that one is grammatically incorrect. But both terms are inappropriate to use in mixed company.
Michelle provided fodder for Fox News when she referred to her husband as her “baby’s daddy” instead of as her children’s father or her husband. “Baby daddy” is slang derived from the regional hit by B Rock And The Bizz called “My Baby Daddy“.
What Michelle said was a play on words using a popular urban slang. Fox news did the same thing. So I guess we can call it even? Touché.

Now being that she said “Baby Daddy” it’s okay for them to say “Baby Mama” so being that rappers say the n-word it’s okay for them to say that to. Black people have their own slang just like yt’s do. But do we go around calling yt’s crackers and rednecks and post it up on tv. Not being racist. But I think it all comes down to respect. It will be more underhanded stuff about obama but like my mom always told don’t be a copycat and just because Michelle said “baby daddy” doesn’t mean Fox has the right to say “baby mama”. We all know they were trying to be funny!!
I did remember her saying that, but it was funny to me in the context she used it. She announced him as ” Your senator, my husband, my man, my baby’s daddy, Barack Obama! Something like that. That still doesn’t mean that she should be referred to as his baby momma from now on.
Okay Sandra!! I was thinking about this when I saw your first post. Heck she started it I guess Fox went along cant nobody be mad at that there are bigger things for Americans to worry about then Barracks Baby Mama …Let me stop I think she is a strong women and somewhere laughing at the fact that fox even said it…

I read every comment on the other post. This is too funny. Michelle wasn’t thinking anything of what Fox News reported. The commenters were going to defend it to the end. Don’t mess with Michelle, I got her back mentality. LOL. As much as I hate the whole baby mama/daddy thing. Michelle was just keeping it real. She has a sense of humor. Who wants another old stuffy first lady?

Where did the “n” word originate from, “them” -or I mean- white people or black people??
Last I checked words are words - if it is negative or derrogatory or demeaning - than that is exactly what it means coming from a WHITE PERSON OR A BLACK PERSON

She introduced him as her children’s father, ie: her babies’ (she has two girls) daddy, not baby’s daddy. Fox News can put their mouths on a pistol for all I care. Touche to that!
if my husband want to call me a freak nasty hoe and i want to call him big dikk willy then that is fine. even if we do it in public as long as WE feel comfortable with it..it is OUR bizzness (i’m just using this as an example…)
but if a man in wal-mart walk past me and say “freak nasty hoe” my husband is probably gonna knock his lites out and i am gonna be hurt, embarrassed, etc..

Sandra you trippin. It’s wrong because FOX is racist and have nothing but disdain for the Obamas. They always make racist references toward them and use their Uncle Tom azz bought and paid for token negro anchors to say the worst things so they can be like the black people said it, we didn’t. Michelle can say “that’s my babies’ daddy” well because he is and that’s how they roll but FOX is trying to alienate white people by making them look hood and downplaying their intelligence and accomplishments. The point is that Fox News is a professional News organization that is required to provide fair, respectful and unbiased reporting. Moreover they have no right to stereotypically portray the wife of a Presidential candidate.

This is how I explain the whole “why can’t I say the N word” thing to white people, and it kinda applies to right-wing news organizations referring to black women as “baby mamas”:
I can call my wife whatever I want and vice versa. But if you call my wife something, that’s out of line and I will beat your ass. That doesn’t make it right and it’s not fair but there you are, with your ass whipped and hopefully a lesson learned.

I want to know how her being called baby mama turned into a race issue. We as a society have deeper issues to worry about in regards to race!
And as far as the N Worrd it dusgusts me when I here a black man say it to another black man..I feel like this wherther you have a slang meaning for it or not it has an orginal meaning slang words are usually words not used in another context. When Michelle said “Babies” Daddy she was not using the slang term…she was using the plural version of baby becasue she has two children. Futhermore we know Fox…what had Sylvia’s resturant done for Bill O’Riley to think that someone would be in there sayinf MF’ing ice tea

Sandra,I am disappointed with you. First where is the posting where she says that. I am sure that those were not her exact words, based on Fox New’s history. They say all kind of disrespectful stuff about the Obama’s. We do not have to help them. Yesterday that filled the audience with people that are Republicans and had a town hall meeting. All of the negative things they continue to do about the black community is unacceptable.
