Chris Brown showed off his new solid 18k gold Macbook Air recently. When you’re young and dumb this is what you spend your money on. I guess he doesn’t have an accountant or financial adviser. He’ll be broke in 10 years.

The 24-carat gold MacBook Pro, with diamond studded Apple logo only costs $1,500 over the price of the Macbook Pro (or $2,400 over the Pro if you’re going to have the diamond filled Apple logo on the back). That price is added to the original price of the computer.
sandra, let him spend his money on what he wants to spend it on. what about when j-lo spent 12,000.00 on a hermes bag. she may have more loot than him but to each his own. women buy clothes, shoes and purses and men buy electronics.

With the Mac being all 18k’d out and diamond studded, does it do anything differently than the original less studded, bling’d out one?
I mean I don’t really see anything wrong with it it’s his money leave the boy alone it’s better than buying purses or shoes that don’t look a dollar over $20 bucks at least this looks like it cost a pretty penty and shoot it’s a laptop he’ll get his moneys worth

Exactly. Funny Monica story: I was telling some people about what Monica is up to, and they looked at me like, “WHO CARES????” — totally perplexed why I would even mention Monica in 2008. I agree, it’s Chris’ money to spend the way he chooses too. Whether or not he spends it on the 18k gold Macbook Air or something else; he can still end up broke! You have to treat yourself every now and then otherwise your hard work is in vain. It’s sort of like a diet - you have the days when you are strict and then you might have a day where you just eat whatever you want. As far as Monica goes, ya’ll better back up befor you have your comment accounts blocked. I enjoy reading your comments and sure would hate to see you go.

He’s no more stupid than all the people you post that spend thousands of dollars on bags, shoes, cars, and hair weave. I mean lets get real. Whatever he spent on that mac book will equate to whatever all those people you post spend on 2 bags or 2 shoes. He’s a boy, so since he doesn’t carry bags and wears normal sneakers, he can do that.

I agree with Mochamommy. Chris is making money, like she said and doing concerts and people are seeing him perform-not just here in Atlanta. I like Monica, but if I see her long a** feet one more time, I am gonna scream! Besides, someone should have told Monica not to try and become a rap star, as she did on her last cd. I don’t see anything wrong with him purchasing a laptop with his money-emphasis on HIS! to the girl who said she wanted a macbook for so long, youll get so accustomed to using your mac you wouldnt even want a pc anymore, bad thing is alot of programs outside of CS3 are not mac compatible so make sure when you buy programs for your mac and you’re not buying it out of the apple store to get it compatible with your mac…..
