This is all so boring. Now L’Oreal put out a statement to Fox Racist News Network categorically denying they lightened up sister girl’s skin in their ad.
Why doesn’t L’Oreal release the original artwork so we can see if it was indeed altered by some mischievous third party. This is boring me anyway.

L’Oreal did not lighten Beyonce Knowles’ skin tone in a recent ad contrary to speculation, a rep for the company told FOXNews.com on Thursday.“It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria hair color,” the rep said in a statement.
“Beyonce Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L’Oréal Paris brand since 2001. We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles.”
The ad for L’Oreal Paris’s Feria hair color, which is featured in this month’s issue of Elle magazine, shows the “Crazy in Love” singer with windswept dark blond hair and what appears to be a paler complexion. (Source)

nope they lightened her to appeal more to their white woman that buy their hair products. the ad is ugly and beyonce should have cussed them out when she saw the spread. they completely took away all her ethnicity. if it was a full body shot, her thighs would have been altered cause we all know white women ain’t got no shape.
Beyonce is a person of mixed ancestry, including Caucasian ancestry. So, it’s not impossible that she can become very pale and show more of a Caucasian profile at a certain angle. At some angles she looks more Native American, and she can also look like a black chick.
He versatility in that area has contributed to her mass appeal and marketability - IMO.

Yesterday I received my fall issue of ELLE and what ad was in it??? Yes the one above with B and Loreal… whoever is sending the ad around to bloggers (or where ever bloggers are getting it from) is NOT the way it looks in print. It looks like her and her regular (what ever that means) skin color. B is okay with me so I’m not stanning on this—–people go and find a fall magazine with this ad, its looks totally different in person.
That Loreal ad looks like they consulted with Crayola to come up with a new color. That is not a color known to man or woman. I think the name for the new color should be:
