Sales of People Magazine’s Twins Cover a ‘Huge Disappointment’
According to a source close to CoverAwards.com, the estimated sales figures are in for People magazine’s much-hyped cover featuring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins.
As you know, People mag dropped $7 milli on the cover that they shared with HELLO magazine, which also pitched in an additional $7 million.
Critics cried foul at the exorbitant prices the two magazines were willing to shell out for pictures of babies.
Unfortunately for People mag, the sales figure are a huge disappointment. By now the public is surely aware that pathetic, publicity hungry celebs like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will do anything for attention — including having twins via in-vitro fertilization. Anything to keep the publicity machine churning.

I like Angelina and Brad. However, she still deserves an ass kicking from my girl Jennifer Aniston.

I did not care for the pic. It’s too personal and not glamed up as JLo’s, that’s why it didn’t sell. The pic was boring.

Look at theme damn lips on that baby….goodness them are some big damn lips…..i like Angie lips but them baby lips are huge.
i am surprised this cover didn’t do so well . i kind of like the fact that it’s not glammed up. just a simple pic of two loving parents and their precious bundles.

I definitely think Brad and Angelina are MAJAH! However, I am not surprised the cover didn’t bring in as much money as expected. Celebrities are not as mysterious as they used to be. Blogs, the pap’s and entertainment television has humanized them to the point where they are ordinary people with extraordinary occupations. People aren’t going to spend the little money they have nowadays on a magazine just to check out some infants.
I didnt buy it, but did look at it in the grocery store. I thought the pics were really good. THey showed all the kids, that Pax looks like a handfull. Zahara & Shiloh are so pretty, it’s weird how Shiloh looks like Brad, Angie & SHiloh

I am not a fan of Angie or Brad, the kids are ok. I am sick of these two making people think it’s ok to have babies and not be married and adopting children when you know that they are going to be cared for by Nannies while you are out playing make believe in the movies. Grow up and stop this madness. Children deserve parents who are willing to put them first and not use them for photo opts.
Mature people get married and are able and willing to put their children needs first.

I agree with the poster that said Hollywood doesn’t hold any mystery anymore. Most people know that if they wait an extra day or so the pics will be posted on the net anyway. I enjoy people magazine so it was a win win for me.
To each his own if they’re happy and taking care of those kids non-married more power to them.
why buy the magazine when you can see it online.
Maybe the magazine-buying public is fed up with the media glamorizing out-of-wedlock births. Or maybe they’re tired of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Maybe it’s a little of both.
Chile please…Jen should’ve been on her day job. Everybody new Brad wanted kids…perfect example of what you won’t do…someone else will do it for ya….she should be kicking her own a** everyday…..
