T.I.’s other baby mama takes him to court
According to Style Razzi, one of T.I.’s baby mamas took the King to court over child support. Maybe she glimpsed that $6 million dollar ring that T.I. gave Tiny and decided she wasn’t getting broke off enough?
The mother of two of T.I.’s children has sued the platinum-selling rapper for child support, saying she is having a hard time supporting the boys and now wants a court-ordered arrangement for payment.Lashon Dixon and T.I. have known each other since they were teenagers and dated before he reached megastar status. They have two sons together, ages 7 and 8.
Dixon says T.I. currently gives her about $2,000 a month to care for the boys, but now she wants to schedule a more stable stipend that is commensurate with his success. Both parties appeared in Fulton County Superior Court on Thursday. (Source)

Why do these women feel they should get more money from celebrity dads? Get a phuckin job, if he’s paying support, hopefully they go to an excellent school and have excellent medical coverage, all the trinkets kids want (i’m just hoping) then why should mama get paid?

To me if the child WAS with both parents then that child would be recieving WAY MORE money that what the father is paying for child support. TI is paying 2,000 dollars a month for his cchildren.

I’m sorry but I agree that she should get an increase…I mean Im not saying a $25000.00 increase but $2000.00 is nothing compared to what he spends on the kids that live with him im sure on top of that they live in luxury, why should any of his other kids feel left out because he is with Tiny and not their moms…its not fair to them. Child support is determined by the way of life…if the father is banking 20 million dollars a year then a judge will allow a child support that fits the father’s lifestyle…the same for a mother. Who knows for this girl to have dealt with that small amount of child support from T.I. all this time, even knowing that he spends stacks of it on sh*t that don’t matter….leasing vehicles, buying jewlery, making it rain, buying clothes as if he doesn’t have enough etc…she should be commended for waiting this long!! That’s why it’s there. That’s why the courts have a method to calculate how much a non-custodial parent has to pay by calculating the time spent with the child and how much both parents earn.
You children should live to which style you are able to live yourself. And if you don’t want the “baby momma” getting the money; keep your d!ck in your pants or get full custody and YOU take care of the kids- NOT no nanny or no one else- YOU!

I got to disagree with you on this simply for the fact if the child needs are taken care of daily with the $2000 for the past 7 to 8yrs including trust accounts, college funds, then why is it a problem now? Family Health Insurance - $180

I pay $656 a month including the summer and carry my daughter on my health insurance I have her every other weekend Friday-Monday (wanted Thursday-Monday but she fought that found out later it was because that would have effected the money she got) also have her the complete summer and pay $2,000 plus for summer camps. And let’s not forget the summer vacations which the mother never has and never will do because she doesn’t want to spend the money. And I have her for more then 30% of the time. My situation the mother was living in a three bed room before my daughter was born and still is so that expense is the same her child care for the year is about 1,200.. Ok so how much food does a 6 year old that is almost a vegetarian eat? I was trying to get her into private school but no it might effect $$$$$$$.

I pay $656 a month including the summer and carry my daughter on my health insurance I have her every other weekend Friday-Monday (wanted Thursday-Monday but she fought that found out later it was because that would have effected the money she got) also have her the complete summer and pay $2,000 plus for summer camps. And let’s not forget the summer vacations which the mother never has and never will do because she doesn’t want to spend the money. And I have her for more then 30% of the time. I’d kiil for that problem. My “good” baby daddy ain’t paid in 6 months. We don’t have an order, but for 4 years he paid the agreed upon amount faithfully and then fell off. My “bad” baby daddy ain’t paid in years and we had and order. Child Support cut me off becuase I would not agree with them locking him up or suspending his license when I was just calling them to get a new garnishment. They said I was uncooperative. I ain’t got time for all that mess man. I’d rather struggle on my own. My girls are fine.

In this case the woman should have been done asked for more money unless like someone else said, T.I. is paying for her housing, private school and other lavish expenses on top of the 2k. $2K a month isn’t that much for 2 kids, I mean doesn’t he think he should be providing more for their upkeep if they mostly live with their mom? I mean gas for her car alone is probably costing her close to $400 a month, and I bet she’s the one running them around. A portion of the remaining money should go towards their shelter, food, clothing and general upkeep. She’s not living lavish off that chump change. $2K is less than one of Tiny’s handbags, so his kids aren’t worth a handbag?
I have a friend who pays close to $2500 a month for one child, and he still covers tuition, health care and other costs for the mother of his child. He’s not a celebrity either and he doesn’t complain. He should complain though, he got got by a professional baby mama, their son is her third child and she just sits and collects child support.

Hmmm why is this a issue now 5 albums later? There is two sides to a story and im am sure that a father with his status would make sure that his children are well taking care of whether he is with the childs mother or not or even if he is with his current girlfriend. White men should not have to tell black men how much to provide for their children. Child support should be agreed among both parents. If she likes it then T.I. love it. I am sure that they could resolve this without going to court or just having a layer draw up paper. Child support in NYC is until the child turns 21.

medical coverage (if the child live out of state it is the fathers duty to make sure he has a coverage that can be used in another state, NYC judges don’t give a ****)
school fees if the school is private
and some other ****. I don’t know about Atlanta but in New York child support can’t be done unless perternity is established in court if you want the court to decide. That is why it is good to negociate outside of the courts with money order and receipts!

PC???? If your expenses total 25k then YES - but in most cases unless your spending just because 25k a month is more than ENOUGH!
