Biden Criticizes Obama for Approving McCain Ad
While Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin enjoy a bump in the polls, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Joe Biden show evidence of a camp divided.
In an interview on the “Today” show this morning, Obama appeared to chastise his running mate for disagreeing with him on the feds’ AIG bailout plan.
Obama told NBC’s Matt Lauer that he doesn’t expect the mortgage plan to cost the full $700 billion right away, and all the money won’t be lost.
“Does that mean that I can do everything that I’ve called for in this campaign right away?” Obama said. “Probably not. I think we’re going to have to phase it in. And a lot of it’s going to depend on what our tax revenues look like.”
Obama then launched into an attack on McCain for initially opposing the government’s bailout plan, saying, “I think what has been clear during this entire past 10 days is John McCain has not had clarity and a grasp on the situation.”
But Lauer pointed out that Biden also opposed the bailout plan. To which Obama replied, “I think that in that situation, I think Joe should have waited, as well.”
On Monday, Biden launched a critical blow of his own directed at Obama.
In an interview with “CBS Evening News,” Biden said he objected to a television ad — approved by Obama — which depicted McCain as an out-of-touch, computer-illiterate old man.
Biden said he disapproved of the ad and appeared to criticize his running mate for the negative tone of the campaign.
“I thought that was terrible, by the way,” Biden said. “I didn’t know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we’d have never done it.”
Do we really need to hear the words, “I didn’t know we did it,” — so close to the election? Don’t they communicate with each other? Because if not, we don’t need these guys in the White house. This country has enough problems.

This just goes to show that neither presidential candidate can make the right decision in choosing a VP candidate. Biden should have known better then to say anything negative at all. Then you got sore loser Bill Clinton talking about how people should stop bad mouthing Palin. He should have taken his own damn advice when his wife was running and not talk so much trash about Obama. I’m sure if he didn’t his wife would have had a better chance at being VP candidate. All of these people are nothing but idiots.

I don’t think it matters who we vote for because the final decision is not going to be from our votes…As much as I hate to say it and I am not being negative, but the way it is looking all of a sudden the race is close… McCain will actual win it. I hope my assumption is wrong, but we will see.

Well, I’m from Delaware which is Biden’s hometown. However, I’m starting to wonder who’s side he’s really on. You don’t criticize your running mate. Also, he said that Obama should have picked Hillary as his running mate. Wtf is wrong w/him? I’m telling you if Obama loses, I will never vote Biden for Senate again!

Sandra…you’re worst than these left wing spin machines…..I saw both interviews in its entirety…and did not get that impression…please start telling all of the story…and not your version….OBAMA BIDEN are a united front….maybe you should post the articles…..that discloses…that when Sarah Palin was a mayor in Alaska…she made women pay for there own rape kit after they were raped……these kits/examinations cost over $1000.00….and some of these women did not have Health Care or the means to afford the examiantion…..and she would not allow funding to pay the cost…when asked about it…of course she forgot…..WOW…that’s BS….tell that truth..please…because she does not approve of abortion for women who been raped as well…..as women we need to speak out about this…..because this election is also about taking away the RIGHT for Women to decide what is best for our reproduction systems…..please tell that truth….!!

Oh please. I just watched the ad which only aired in Washington, D.C. and even then only 6 times. It says absolutely nothing about John McCain being an old man. It does say he has been in politics 26 years and it says that McCain himself admits he doesn’t know how to use email. There was nothing offensive about the ad, unlike the ad the McCain campaign ran comparing Sen. Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. If Biden said something was wrong with the ad then I am starting to believe what I read on a blog site with absolutely no political credibility that stated Biden would step down from the VP spot so that Obama could bring on Hillary. These politicians are dirty as the day is long.
