Upcoming Events: Ryan Cameron Health Fair
Ryan Cameron’s voice is known throughout Atlanta. He is touted as the number one, afternoon, drive-time host on the People’s Station, V-103. Ryan’s voice resonates over the airwaves but speaks volumes in the community through his charitable organization, The Ryan Cameron Foundation.
On Saturday November 1, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., families are encouraged to join Ryan Cameron at the Gallery At South DeKalb for a day of health screenings, medical seminars, celebrity food demonstrations and much more.
Although the general goal of this event is to empower the entire family with information and resources regarding healthcare issues, the primary focus is to teach our youth how to make healthy choices that will ultimately influence their quality of life.
Free Screening and Testing for the following will be provided:
- Diabetes and Sickle Cell
- Blood Pressure
- High Cholesterol
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Blood Glucose
- Asthma
- Vision
- Dental

It’s great that he’s doing this. I hope a lot of people show up for this and not blow it off. If it was a cd signing it’d be packed, but since it’s regarding health some won’t see it as a big deal or worthy of their time. *SIGH* People’s priorities tend to be all wrong.

Ryan is doing a good thing for his people, because lord knows I;m tired of seeing all these lard ass people slowly committing suicide but still heading to church’s chicken or some other fcukery.
