Tyrese Denies Brandy Rumors
Did Tyrese really have to deny the rumors that he was dating Brandy? Isn’t he married? Some people just don’t have a sense of humor:
“Brandy and I have been the best of friends since we were 14 years old. I would never date her — it would be like dating my sister.” He called the outing “a simple lunch amongst friends.”
But I don’t believe for one minute that Brandy has been celibate for three years.

i think it is safe to say married folks don’t have a sense of humor about their marriage and rumors of infidelity.
i know i don’t. that could get somebody shot, stabbed, kilt.
Those jeans are different. Tyrese if you want those pesky rumors to subside take some pictures of you, Brandy and Wife out on a lunch date. Really, did Brandy do this for publicity? just wondering. I am sure this is not the first time they had lunch together now all of a sudden when she has an album to drop the couple story develops once again. Just a thought.

@Amulet, I agree with every word. Everytime I stepped out to fufill sexual needs it backfired and I ended up with that just sex. Sometimes we need to be still to hear/see whats going on around us. Sex at times clouds thinking and what we think is good for us is actually bad. But, we will continue with the process because of sex.
@Hermosa- being celebate was by choice and had alot to do with the space I was in at the time.

I think that’s great. It definatley takes alot of will power to go celibate. It’s defiantely something I couldn’t do.
i personally think that is a lie about the 3 years with no man. she has been with q. richardson as recent as three years. they had gotten back together after his brother was killed if i recollect.

I was celibate for 14 months after the guy I was dating was killed in a car accident. For me it was I didn’t want to get close to someone and have them taken away. I was an emotional mess. Then I met someone really nice and lust took over after about 3 months. Hey you wanted honesty lol

I will have to admit that celibacy does have a certain clarrity and focus that comes along with it! That’s for damn sure.
You can see right thru a mo’fo spitting some ole raggedy game…or someone who just wants hit and quit, quite frankly.
The quality of my life gets better with age…and that includes the men I choose to bed down. Celibacy is just something I don’t have to do at this point.

Yep. Some men know crazy when they see it but do know how to appreciate it. Hubby knows I got his back at all times.
Look at their faces, t mz had a video of them, and if they didnt look guilty, I must be blind…

I have been celibate for 2 1/2 years and yes it’s by choice.
AGAIN comments on a post that MAKES me glad I didn’t stay married and didn’t Re-marry… WHEW !!! ;-)
Just a couple of points:
My wife wasn’t WORTH me killing for ESPECIALLY something as trivial as a RUMOR that I can’t possibly prove… Actually my grandmother taught me that No Woman IS worth going to jail for ;-)

Confronting and Controlling aren’t the Same Thing in this regard ;-)
And for the record I have Gone-without-Sex BY CHOICE several times in my life… a couple being around two years (Sad but True) ;-)

@ Hermosa it was by choice more than circumstance for me … After I gave birth I wasn’t sexually motivated at all - no drive whatsoever.
I went through a process of rethinking and thinking and reflecting on the actual ACT.
I am working on celibacy now .. its hasn’t been that long, and the reason this time is because I am channeling my energy. I don’t want to share anything with a man right now … trying to work through some things within my spirit and mind.
And she never said she was celibate Sandra … fix that.
@ iyonah.. I did it for the same reason’s. The truth is that whatever your path is that is what it’s gonna be with or without sex.
I was celibate for 3 yrs before .. and i abstain in between my visits from my military beau … clarity and vision were about the same. . spotting b.s. comes with time and maturity … i’m at the age that if I wanted to hit it and quit it .. i would .. no biggie .. i never did like the double standard imposed on women who have a strong sexual drive and chose to act on it ..

I use to feel like a loser too from having sex with guys who I later felt like manipulated me or used me for convenience.
Only you know what is best for you, no matter what anyone tells you. Of course celibacy will not stop urges, but it will damn sure keep you in love with yourself when you don’t have to worry about STD’s and feeling dirty about giving your body to some unworthy lost soul.
Not to mention, their are men out there who will respect you for respecting yourself, and if not you didn’t need them anyways.
