Gabrielle Union sat down with the Boots Girls recently while in Chicago for a charity event.
The girls asked Gabby about her BFF Beyonce and here is what Gabby said:
Beyonce and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We go to the same hairstylist now and you know how those bonds are! B is such a polite, nurturing person and a joy to work with. It’s easy to work with her because she is a good friend of mine.
But how can that be? Isn’t Gabrielle Union 36 years old? That would make her a full nine years older than Beyonce. So how could they be friends since they were teenagers — unless one of them is lying about her age?
Gabby just added fuel to the rumors that Beyonce is lying about her age. I’m going to rely on my good source inside Bey’s camp who tells me that Bey’s real age is 35.

Many times executives are looking for younger people to sign, so if Matthew put a group together of young girls and stuck his older daughter in the group who was older but looked younger he could get her signed faster. Beyonce is 25 or 26. I live in Houston and have lived here since I was in the 3rd grade, and I’m 29 now. So that should tell you how long I’ve been here. I have a cousin who attended HSPVA (High School of Performing and Visual Arts) with Beyonce, and the original members of Destiny’s Child, and they are between the ages of 25 to 27 years old. I remember seeing the girls in talent shows with my cousin, who at the time were all in the 9th grade together. Maybe Gabby is lying about her age.
That doesn’t appear to be the most reputable site in the world. Who knows if Gabby even said that. Either way it’s impossible. I have never heard that Gabby was from Houston so how could they have been friends as teenagers regardless of anyone’s age? For damn sure they ain’t BFF’s. This past weekend is the first time I have ever seen them together. B has never been into the party scene like Gabby. They ain’t no dang friends.
