Dimewars.com got footage of rapper T.I. motivating the youth at the Camp Creek YMCA yesterday — the day after the chaos at the Dirty Awards.
T.I. also handed out free turkeys yesterday. Tomorrow T.I. will help serve food at the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry and Homeless annual Thanksgiving Day event. Also tomorrow, T.I. will join the Hawks (or the Braves, I forget) for their Thanksgiving event.

When is he going to jail?
Even though he has been ordered to do this community service, I think it will have a positive impact on him. It’s pretty dope that he took his children so they can adopt a spirit of giving. That’s wassup.
and….. any word on what shawty lo is doing for his community this holiday season? my guess is NOTHING!!!! Great thing about T.I. is he ALWAYS does something for his community during the holidays, even when it wasn’t court ordered!!!
@ Bird. It’s good to show your kids giving back and being “charitable” In T I’s case It means nothing to me. Maybe it’s too little too late.

It’s real confusing to me how he can be fighting one night and then paying alms to the poor the next. That’s the kind of thing that make sme think he’s not sincere about his apoligies for his wrongdoings with the guns and whatnot.

More men in our community need to step up to the plate, families overall should understand the value in teaching our children to give back and do things to impact the community positively. Kudos to TIP, its a great thing that he brought the children along – he didn’t have to – IMO not a case of too late at all. The fact that he is providing some sort of a GOOD example still matters.

Im lost too, did someone say something bad about Jai Jai? I like her blog also and she sound intelligent enough, I just hope people are not taking out comments to heart at any rate, all this is the thoughts people have on an everyday basis, written. People are gonna talk, people are not going to like everything, my motto is “who the fck told you your opinion counts?” and I apply that to every aspect of life. As long as you are pleased with yourself, nothing anyone says should touch you, if it does you may need to re-evaluate how you rate yourself first.

On another note…on a daily basis Sandra blasts Beyonce, Obama and any other popular celebrity. When Sandra gives props to someone, community members go hard just like she does to Beyonce. (ie Tiny and Diamond) It’s a tit for tat kinda thing.
*sidebar* Diamond was on Sweet 16 with that big hair chick. I have a newfound respect for her because she isn’t as “ghetto” as I originally perceived and she looked pretty, in an around the way girl kinda swag.

I like how these low rent celebrities, stylist and makeup artist wanna comment on every comment that we make. These people look like fools responding or even generalization about us. Not all of us wanna be phony a$$ celebrities or be part of any crew and just bc you are featured on a gossip site, that does not make you successful.
Most of us are successful in our own fields, WITH EDUCATION AND DEGREES BEHIND OUR NAMES. So while Jai Jai is riding Diamond’s coattails to become a “successful make-up artist” I already make more money than her, I drive my own luxury car and I can afford to contract a real make up artist with experience in their field, at the tender age of 23.
She should know that as a public figure, she put herself in the spotlight to get ridiculed. Just like we have time and “no life” to comment on this blog, she has the time and “no life” to read the comments and write a blog on her myspace about us.

I went to Jai Jai’s myspace and this chick is only 23 years old. My thing is why does everything WE do to express ourselves have to be interpreted as “hood” or “ghetto” ? What makes you these things? Really? I meand the color of her hair? Wasnt that India Arie that said I am not my hair? If anything came across as “ghetto” about her couldnt that easily be conveyed to her age? Not saying Yea or Nea about it at all, but I am just quite tired of everytime I turn around hearing that something is ghetto when other communities are free to express themselves and it is called punk rock or whatever new label they have for it these days.

Aww I luv T.I. he is such a charismatic individul…he usually does special things for the youth around the Holidays and he usually has his kiddies with him at those events.
Even before the court ordered community service T.I. reached out to young people…thats why he has always been one of my fave entertainers.

thank you @keely. it is sad, cause like i said the reporters and others really DO think i am just the “help.” luckily i work for a man who thinks the world of me and is always singing my praises all over this building. he is always telling folks he just could not do what he does without me. and again this was a choice i made career wise. i was recruited to come over here to the executive offices. i have better hours, take two hour lunches…hell one day i even went down to the basement and caught a nap. i ain’t lying. and nobdy gives a rat’s azz cause i still manage to do my job…

You just described my job. Only because I have been here so long do the long time customers know that I have state license(s) for what I do. New ppl just think I am the secretary/receptionist or just “that girl”. I don’t want a back office. I love being in the reception area. I have a big beautiful desk and a great leather chair that belongs to me that will leave with me when I decide to get a more stressful job. I don’t want to be salary(you work more for less).

We have these black on black Chanel’s. The frame is black and the double “c” rhinestones are glittery black, LOVE THEM. And sunglasses are another story. . . I have a mini collection of sunglasses at home! We sell them at a pretty high price but we buy from the manufacturer pretty cheap. Are you interested in glasses or sunglasses?

I heart Ye really I do, even more than I do Bey but I just want to hug him and hold him through the PAIN. You can hear it all over the album – if it was minus the AutoTune then I too would call it genius, but when you compare it to the other projects in the past and if you have followed him then your going to be disappointed.
@ blogger – I didn’t purchase it and won’t even get the $2 bootleg because that AutoTune really hurts my EARS. Now that is something that saturates the market. A song here or there ok, but everyone SONG … I just can’t/don’t want to accept it.
And when it comes to people coming on this site to argue I just lol because it’s a waist of energy, I love my CYBER fam.

learning how to cook wasn’t a necessity for me growing up because everyone around me (girlfriends, my mom and brothers) were great cooks! Now I’m just too lazy to learn.
Sorry for all the ones still at work. Don’t feel bad, I have to work on Black Friday. I do get to lock the door at 2pm but all the sales start while I will be at work, all the pickin’s will be gone to go shopping after work. The only ppl that should work on Friday our the cashiers to ring up my purchases. i e . gas station attendends, grocery stores, retail. No direspect to the cashiers out there. Been there done that and I always appreciate a cheery face on the cashier who is happy to ring up my purchases (when I use to get that day off with pay). I guess I am still a cashier, I take ppls money to buy what I am selling, no one wants to purchase what I am selling on Black Friday. And no, I am not a “call girl”. LOL. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

i done got off, picked up baby girl and came home and finished up my items for tomorrow. i am so thankful for…my god given family. my job. as much as i hate them i am thankfully to be gainfully employed when so many are not. my car. lord knows i was upset to part with that $400+ of work i just put under my hood but i know it will last me another year in such unstable times. : )
finally thanks for my sandra rose fam. gets me through the work days. gives me an outlet. thanks sandra and yall. most of all i know yall got my cyber back judging from the above comments. but let me not dwell on that. cause we might be called the “c” word. even though i like “cyber gang” alot better….. thanks yall.

my husband says thankstodalawd so i won’t be out spending UP a mess this go round. i got a trick for his blurple self tho…i still plan on going to wallyworld and tar-get. cause work or not friday is still a payday and i ain’t gotta be to work til TEN. that gives a sistah PLENTY of time. esp when he think i gotta be there at my reg 7:30…LMAO.
