Reports: Blagojevich Expected to Name a Black Man to Obama’s Senate seat
According to online reports, embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will name a black man to fill Barack Hussein Obama’s empty Senate seat.
In a brilliant chess move, Blagojevich is expected to name former Illinois attorney general (Democrat) Roland Burris to Obama’s seat — and by doing so, Blago challenges the Democrats to unseat one of their own.
Congressional Democrats are already lining up to challenge the appointment by Blago, who is under fire for allegedly trying to sell Obama’s senate seat.
Republicans are also objecting to the appointment. The head of the state GOP issued a statement saying, in part:
“Once again, Blagojevich Democrats have failed the people of Illinois by refusing to strip Rod Blagojevich of his senate appointment power and blocking a vote of the people.”
Personally, I think it’s a smart move on Blago’s part. By naming the 71-year-old Burris to the Senate seat, he shakes up Obama’s power play by not appointing Obama’s choice for the seat.
Blago also puts the Dems in the unenviable position of challenging the appointment of a black man to the seat.

brandy’s album is good though i must admit… however i think whoever pushed it was stupid because her bonus tracks that she did with timberland were hot as hell! but she did drop and flop all in the same week…. which was kinda messed up lol

Poor management is brandys problem, her mom was the reason she got all that publicity for her good albums, than she had to go to a indie label and she had to get benny (KING OF FLOPS) medina and the lackluster sales of afrodisiac put her under big time. i wish she would have stuck with her mom and also not disappeared for 4 years at time and then come back and expect to do never say never numbers, she needs to be more consistent but with a dramatic personal life she cant really devote as much time thats needed to fully promote these albums. ALSO she was supposed to work wit timbaland, keri hilson ETC but she also had a obligation to meet in getting the album out at a certain time…….. But that doesnt stop HUMAN from being a good album but its not a very mainstream album that a lot of people could get into, its not about sex, it has no nude vibe covers, its about love and real topics that people do not want to hear…..
And people say full moon was a flop but you have to remember she had about 4 months to promote that album(PREGNANT) and she had to cease once her baby was born. She needs to work with all those producers get a few features ,aybe get on a show, she can bounce back i have faith!!!!

I dont understand i love this blog as you know but i never see brandy on it, which is fine its whatever but i dont understand why you wouldnt post her but you would post monica instead when brandy has been very active in the media, i own every brandy and monica album EVER and enjoy them both but this has been a huge year for brandy and all i hear and see is negative coverage of her or no coverage at all, she is one of the few artists in the game MONICA,ESTELLE included who sings about real topics Dont strip to sell records, Dont steal other songs, and are posotive rolemodels. i dont understand why she gets such a bad rep but everyone loves MONICA who honestly has done nothing this whole year, You stated that monicas album would be out in december and i was excited i THOUGHT GREAT BRANDY AND MONICA i was gonna get both and have a 1998 reunion but as time progressed branyds came out and monicas didnt….. Meh this is me ****ing i have to defend brandy often. I miss the 90s

As far as Monica and Brandy it is what it is I love them both and buy anything they do…they both took missteps, which is to be expected and to me are in the same boat at this point the past is the past like the always relevent Janet Jackson once said “what have you done for ME lately….mmm mmm mm YEAH!”
Oh know as far as the post goes ole boy (blogavech) knows what he’s doing if he gives the seat to someone not on the tapes then he can say the tape conversations was just that talk
I don’t see how this effects President Elect Obama. He already gave his choice for the senate seat a job in his cabinet and I have not heard he really cared much about anyone else for the seat. This is just another example of how crazy this man is and the person he appointed should have the good sense not to accept as he will suspect for the rest of his term and probably won’t be re-elected no matter how good a job he does.
