I’ve been saying all year that Rihanna was way ahead of her competition in terms of personal style and trend setting.
It looks like BET was paying attention!

I can go along with this. I have been watching people imitate Rihanna all year, but still not do it as well as her. She has morphed into an almost rocker style and I love it.
@Divine, is 100 pairs too much or too little? Because, I probably own over 60 pairs and I feel like I could probably do with another 15 or so pairs before I’m satisfied with my shoe options.

I was thinking that number was on the low side. 100 pairs of shoes is not a lot.
100 pair of shoes is not that much. I don’t count my shoes but if I did…I’m sure it’s would be that much.
I consistently donate to Goodwill so if I don’t have 100 that is why.

@Carmel please stop buggin she has Beywance beat hands down when it comes to fashion. Mama Tina has B looking a hot mess more times than not. I am not a fan of her red carpet dresses either.

___________________________________________________________ I think every girl at owns at least 40-50 pairs of shoes on average, so for Ri Ri to say 100 pairs….it must be top shelf expensive shyt like Gucci, LV, prada…etc…charging between $200 – $4000 for footwork can add up, even on a black card.

@Why a stylist can only do so much the rest is up to you and how you pull off the look. Clothes look good on her cause she is tall and has natural swagger.

@ Daisy… Exactly. If it was all up to a “stylist” why is she in her own league right now when it comes to fashion? Why can’t some other artists pick better stylists or the same stylist as Rihanna? And I also agree with Bird about people copying her but still can’t pull it off like she does.

Girl tell em’ thats just the AVERAGE…a bytch with a good job and 0-1 kid, probably averages about 80-150, and thats at 15 dollars an hour!! Dudes have the same fetish, but their shoes are so expensive (JORDANS almost $250 a pair) they have to take their time buying kicks. I dont agree with the fefe and Kelis had it 1st comments. Kelis indeed does have her own style as well and did cut all her hair off and what have you but she is no RiRi by any means! They have two different looks and the thing with Kelis it comes off as trying to be different vs just being.
As far as Megan goes she has a cute boyfriend!
But you know what Daisy, Kelis was on her way to being a fashion Icon….I can remember a few trend setting items from her video “Bossy”, as a matter of the fact that video was where I first peeped HIGH waisted pants coming back, and that bad azz bathing suit was the ish too. Of course her hair cut (I remember coming to the hair salon asking for “The Kelis”) and the silk dress she had on at the party scene was hot too. She was doing her thing, she just took it over the top sometimes. With Ri, she pretty much did the same except she kept her over the top moves tasteful and she maintained her fabolousness all year long.

@ Krysi I agree with you about Kelis being a trendsetter but she just got so over the top. People still like to relate to a person and I can’t see myself wearing anything that she has been photographed in recently.

ok did anyone else peep that Megan is also styled by this chick, and still exudes that “stripper chic” vibe… So yes the stylist selects some fantastic clothing and has a vision, but it’s left up to the client to carry it well.
Chile, Meagan can only afford this girl’s services 1 every three months a year….therefore her business with Mrs. Haenn does not count. Im pretty sure her boyfriend would pay, but he probably say what the hell for, it ain like she doing shyt?
