Eddy Curry’s ex-girlfriend, child found murdered

Two weeks ago, NBA star Eddy Curry was in the news for allegedly sexually harassing his limo driver. This weekend there was even more bad news for Curry.

Chicago police found his ex-girlfriend, Nova Henry, 24, and their 9-month-old daughter, Ava, shot to death in the garage of her South Loop town home.

Police say Curry’s 3-year-old son watched as his mother and sister were murdered. The boy was covered in blood from apparently trying to wake his mother up.

Police had a man in custody Sunday who they interviewed in connection with the murders. The man had a previous romantic relationship with Henry.

Curry is not a suspect in the case. Family members of the murdered woman suspect her ex-boyfriend who they accused of stalking her.

Curry, 26, a center with the New York Knicks, was in Philadelphia with his team Saturday night. (LINK)

this is horrible news. it’s bad enough they killed the woman , but why kill the baby ? i hope whomever did this gets what’s coming to him.

This man can’t win for losing. God rest their souls and bless that poor child that witnessed the death of his family members. Sandra, I thought the 9 month old was not Curry’s child. Did I miss something?

OMG!!!! What a horrific story. Dayum that sure is not what I expected to read first thing in the morning. Wow I am completely stunned. That poor little boy. I wonder what type of effect this will have on his life? Will he remember? What type of person would will he grow up to be? Daym, dayum, dayum……. I hope they find the bastard that did this.

I also heard that the lil gurl may or may not be his. I’ve heard he’s adamantly denied it, and that this bf of hers, believes Curry is the father.

I don’t even want concentrate on that, cuz it takes the focus off the crime. Restraining orders have become the most useless documents around. Anyone who kills a baby to me is evil, and inhumane.

On another site a commenter said that recent DNA proved it was his child. It just makes this case more strange, makes you wonder why one got to live and two died.

Like windycity said, although it isn’t confirmed there are people saying that the girl was saying that the baby was his and he denied the baby girl.

IMO, this sorry azz excuse of a man who the family called a stalker and who she had the restraining order out on knew that the baby wasn’t his and was indeed Eddy Curry’s and killed them both. I PRAY they eff him up in the County.

Right Shaniasmom, he is being called an “entertainment lawyer”.

I saw this yesterday but the more came out the more both the family and the law believes that this guy (who was already on papers) killed her. They have him so he should fry, they better ask for the death penalty.

I would assume that they have to know more than what they are reporting in order to 1. be looking for this guy and 2. to take him into custody.

They’ve made several comments regarding the restraining order and not letting people in your home or having them around you in bad domestic situations so I’m thinking I know this guy did it.

The only thing that would make sense is that the kid only witnessed the murderes. The killer may not have known he was there. I am not sure how a 4 yr. old would restrain themselves from trying to protect a parent and sibling. Was the kid really smart enough to stay hidden and be quiet?

To ME it does not matter if the child was his or not his this baby’s life has been taken and the young lady’s and the son to see the evil act! I pray for this family!!!!! My cousin lost her life in 95 due to the FACT her husband got caught cheating and she wanted out due to it was the second time she knew of…he had the balls to say to us the family in the courtroom, if she was going to leave me it’s forever nobody
else can have her if i can’t have her!…..Once again my prayers are with this family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the little boy had to have hidden. The baby probably cried out so she wasn’t as easy to hide. No one knows and hopefully the images won’t haunt the little boy. A great mental defense is the ability to block these things out. I know he’ll never forget that he was there when his mother and sister were killed but I’d hate for him to live with those images in his head for the rest of his life.

For all we know…she could of been holding the baby while she was killed…..idk…these are all assumptions

And I don’t mean to pick on the city of chicago…but wat is going on……last year it was killadelphia, is it chicago this year…..gooodness

That’s what I thought when I heard the story (that she was probably holding the baby) and that’s how she was shot too but until the police say that, all folks can do is make assumptions.

Also Chicago has always been buckwild with this type of violence but because now because it’s happening to atheletes and celebrities, it’s being put on front street.

Last year my friends 9 yr old son and his mother were found in a burning van. This made the news all of a day and on some stations not at all. Babies go missing, kids get shot, home invasions, just about everything you could imaging and it’s not reported. Chicago is no joke on the violence. It’s not just in the hood either because this young lady lived in the South Loop which is a VERY nice neighborhood.

How the hell are people living these days? Life is too simple for all this B.S. For who,For what? No one deserves to be murdered like this and no child should have to live through this, but this ish is happening everyday, no matter where you live.
Just think once upon a time this Monster was a boyfriend and so many of us just let these monsters into our children’s lives and welcome all this drama. This is why I chose to roll solo. This is just all too much. Like Daisy said, don’t love me to death.
