According to the AJC, rapper T.I. appeared in court yesterday with a check for the $8,000 he owed the attorneys of one of his baby mama’s.
As you already know, LaShon Dixon, mother of T.I.’s oldest sons, sued the rapper for more child support last year (LINK).
A judge increased her monthly payments from the $2000 that T.I. was giving her to a little more than $3,000 a month.
The judge also ordered T.I. to pay Dixon’s attorney’s fees of $8,000 but he missed the deadline for payment.
T.I.’s excuse for not paying Dixon’s attorneys was the judge’s order to pay got lost when he changed assistants. As you recall in a previous post, I told you that T.I. fired his sister Precious and her son, who were his assistants (LINK).
T.I.’s other baby mama — the mother of his daughter Deyjah — still gets $2000 a month from T.I. and apparently she has no plans to take him to court for more.
