The Obama’s Show Their Frugal Side
Most wealthy people love to flaunt their money and material possessions in the faces of those of us less fortunate. That’s one thing I can’t say about Barack and Michelle Obama.
Even though the Obama’s are millionaires, their children only own one Winter coat each.
You would think the children of the president would be fashion plates, but not Malia and Sasha.
I think it’s admirable of the Obama’s to show the country that even in these tough economical times. they know how to pinch a penny.

They look adorable!!! Glad the oldest one got her “natural looking” hairstyle back!!!! And, if they are anything like my children, they can have a MILLION coats in the closet and still only want to wear THE SAME ONE!!!! I have a coat that I LOVE to death!!!! I wear it with anything!!!!!

You don’t have children and trust me once they get a certain age they are vocal about what they want to wear.

You saw that too. LOL. Sandra is saying if he is so rich why do these girls only have one coat. They did have those cute coats for the swearing in, but those are not everyday coats.

Really. seriously. both girls had on a different coat each day of inauguration weekend. the j.crew coats were obviously different. maybe they are just kids that like their coats. i’ll file this under “who cares”..its a coat.

Maybe that’s their favorite coats or their play coats. I don’t know kids with parents with jobs that have one winter coat especially coming from Chicago.

children of that age shouldn’t have 25 coats or think that clothing means more than getting good grades, become social, active in your community, or becoming a serial baby momma. kids have favorite coats clothes foods glasses plates etc….last time i checked all you could do was wear one coat at a time….

NO NAME BRANDS THERE, THEY ARE SHOWING US HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.
ONCE THEY ARE PRESENTABLE, CLEAN AND HAPPY…… THAT’S WHAT WE SHOULD ALL STRIVE FOR AND ..GET OUR FINANCES IN ORDER.
They have several coats. It appears you looked for pictures of them in the same coat. Wow! Most kids however only have one coat. I know when my kids were growing up they had one coat and a light weight jacket.
