Obama Defends His Amateur Decision to Release Secret CIA Documents

Days after releasing top-secret memos detailing the CIA’s efforts to force terrorists to give up information about upcoming attacks on the U.S., Barack Obama went to the spy agency’s Virginia headquarters to explain his amateurish decision and to rebuild morale among the employees.
I’m surprised they let him in the door.
What Obama did was basically hand our enemies top secret information that they can now use against us in the war against terror. “I acted primarily because of the exceptional circumstances that surrounded these memos, particularly the fact that so much of the information was public,” Obama said.
Obama further insisted that he released the documents because an upcoming court case would have exposed them anyway and most of the details are already public. But Obama is twisting the truth to his advantage like he normally does. It is highly doubtful that the CIA would have allowed the contents of those documents to be released in any courtroom — and Obama knew that.
Republican lawmakers, former CIA chiefs and many in the intelligence community have roundly criticized Obama’s actions as detrimental to national security.

Morning Fam!
That is why he got his usual rock star welcome when he went to the CIA dept. yesterday he even had an Amen corner. My mama always told me whats done in the dark will come to the light. Our enemies do not need to know our so called “secerts” to attack us again and or continue disliking us as a country.
Good Morning All.
I’m going with Daisy on this one. I don’t think there was anything secretive about those memos at all. All a show.
What is still a secret though is that wiretapping is at an all time high. And, even though the prez publically protests much … waterboarding and other “illegal” means as torture continues as deem necessary. Also, there’s outsourced torture tactics in the form of rendition.

I certainly hope the above is a joke….EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT THE TORTURING!!! MY GOD…THEY’VE SEEN PICTURES OF IT…ITS NOT SECRET!!!
What Obama did…and by the way…anyone who would call him stupid…obviously will NEVER have a position of power worth noting…EVER…was release documentation which give credence to what is ALREADY KNOWN…this is what DIPLOMACY IS BASED UPON…this is letting other governments who don’t have a problem with THROWING PLANES INTO OUR BUILDINGS that we are doing things DIFFERENTLY!!!
You know…I get it…many people in this country miss the status quo…how America got into bed with the Nazi back in the late 40s and the 50s (under cover…in secret) and that’s how we got the foundation of the C.I.A….I know you guys miss the secrets that have infected and destroyed this country’s reputation for DECADES TO COME…
That’s OVER…get a grip…you know why…IT DOSEN’T WORK!!!
