Tyler movies are very B rated.
i disagree iscream. not a tyler perry fanatic but he has stepped it up lately. “meet the browns” had angela bassett in it and “the family that preys” had alfre woodard and kathy bates in it.

I think the folks in Hollyhood are starting to pay attention to TP now…..his movies have consistently blown up….If I was an Ocsar winner, and the director made 30 million + on his last movie, I’d get on board…..
I saw the interview w/Alfre, before Family came out….she said she had been waiting for TP to come holler at her….

Will’s stock would crash if he did a tyler perry movie. no way will he do that. it’s ok for us to be friends and all. by being seen with will and looking like they’re buds, that’ll add slight credibility to tyler. sure his movies makes millions, but that’s because of the huge fan base he ignores (until movie time, of course).
when tyler’s given someone else’s script to direct, it’s not full of this horrible stage play acting, and the profit is still there, we can then give him some deserving credit. right now he’s just making millions off the same stereotypes we try to get away from.
