I was listening to my R&B survival kit in the car yesterday and I realized I haven’t posted a throwback video in a minute. This is one of my favorite Jodeci cuts. You old heads will remember when we used to do the slow drag to this.

I used to work in a Nursing Home in HS (I got my CNA when I graduated), and I would go in all my residents rooms, and change their TV to the jukebox……..LMAO!
Those was the days……

Good one SR!! I loooooooovvvvves Jodeci! They were the first all male R & B group to come out hard (black hoodies tats, etc) and IMO they very often imitated never duplicated. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO COME OUT THE 90′S
I cry for Jodeci. What the industry turned them into should be a crime. They were born for longevity in the industry, but instead they are all drugged up and pathetic. Terrible.

The box was the ****. You never really had to order because someone else ALWAYS was. I remember ordering sometimes and watching as the # popped up on the screen. And when I use to see a number I recognize I got super juiced! Damn MTV! You know they bought that channel out!

@ Bird you ain’t never lied. My friends and I had that same discussion about Jodeci after we got the email with thier performance in Australia(kc fell) Y’all know how when we was young older folks you used to say they don’t make good music like they used too? And how their parents prolly said that to them when they were young? My heart aches for music because now when we say it ITS THE TRUTH. And thier are so many talented musicians and singers and everday people like us feenin for real music. And the corportate machine feeds us fast food garbage while our souls crave good nourishment.
