Al Sharpton Grinds On Fan During Michael Jackson Public Memorial at the Apollo

The Reverend Al Sharpton and a female fan got a little carried away during a public memorial for Michael Jackson held at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem last night.

Thousands of fans from all over the country lined up in the pouring rain along West 125th Street near the historic Apollo Theater waiting for their chance to celebrate the life and music of Michael Jackson, who died of heart failure last week at his rented home in Los Angeles.

The memorial began at 2pm with Sharpton calling for a moment of silence at 5:26pm — the time on the east coast when doctors pronounced Jackson dead at the UCLA Medical Center.

Then Sharpton shocked revelers when he and an unidentified woman got up close and personal with each other onstage as director Spike Lee snapped photos of the spectacle.

I’m just mad that it’s 2009 and Al is STILL perming his hair and setting it on rollers. I mean really…would a haircut kill him?

Wow. Those pictures are absolutely beautiful. I wish I were there. As for Al, I don’t have a problem with him and a fan jamming to some Michael. They appear to be doing The Bump in one of the photos. Too cool.

Hmmmmm. A tribute to Michael Jackson where an old man is gyrating with a younger woman? Quite appropriate to me, considering dear Mike grabbed his crotch, what, a million times if one? Yes indeed, quite appropriate behavior to me. One last thing. On stage, many entertainers often thank God before they thank anyone else but once again, do we really believe, can we really believe that God, our Lord Jesus Christ, is anywhere in the building with all this cussing, lewdness and nakedness going on? I’m just saying, not judging, just saying. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Something to think about. Peace.
