Who knew Beyonce was in town for a concert?
As usual, I’m always the last to know when a big event is taking place in Atlanta. For instance, I had no clue that burlesque singer and former Destiny’s Child frontman Beyonce was in concert at the Philips Arena last night.
Did they advertise this event? And why didn’t any of my loyal readers tell me so I could get a front row seat and point and laugh at her?
Beyonce certainly didn’t draw the celebs out. Only Tyler “How U Doin” Perry and boxer Evander Holyfield were in attendance. *Yawn*

I knew and was pissed that I could not go! I really hate I missed because Jay will probably make her sit her azz down and have some kids, so this might be her last one (close enough for me to attend). Maybe DC will do a reunion tour!!

Y’all know Sandra is a Beyonce hater, but she’s speaking the truth, well blowing up a portion of it anyways. In the past when she was coming to town, every radio station (well pop and urban stations) would be making mention of it, running promotions giving out tickets etc. That didn’t happen this time around; it almost like her record company doesn’t have the dollars to throw towards promoting her tour, or they simply don’t want to spend it on her. However, it’s been like this for most artists lately, even YT princess Britney is hardly getting the love she usually gets.

HER SHOW WAS SOLD OUT SO EVIDENTLY ALOT OF PEOPLE KNEW. TYLER PERRY, LIL DUVAL, EVANDER HOLYFIELD, USHER, AND OTHERS WERE THERE AS WELL. OH YEAH THE HEAVY SET YT GUY WHO DID THE SINGLE LADIES YOUTUBE VID WAS THERE SHE BROUGHT HIM ON STAGE WITH HER DURING SL.

Anyhoo, Monica usually goes out and support these artist (at least the artist she is close to, or know personaly) Guess Beyonce isn’t one of em….can’t say I don’t get why. And people still swear up in down this chick isn’t full of herself. Whatever. She didn’t marry an arrogant MF like Jay Z for nothing.

She has a show coming up in Dallas and the stations, both urban and “not” are advertising and giving out tickets.
I’ve seen her in concert before and say what you will – the girl puts on a show. I think she is terribly over-exposed, but hey – she’s getting her money and is living life and seems to be happy – can’t hate on her for that.
Well, Sandra can. lol Sandra, just don’t post anything else about Beyonce. Then we’ll know you TRULY don’t like her. But, you don’t go a day without posting something about her – it seems a little obsessive.

The restraining order says 10 feet. The distance from the stage to the front row is 31 feet (I measured it). Plus, there’s nothing in the restraining order that says I can’t point and laugh.

Beyonce shows are not selling out, you can go to ticketmaster and still purchase tickets, her camp wants you to believe otherwise.
