Earlier I told you about a popular video streaming site that has been accused of fabricating video views in exchange for cash.
Independent artists have long put the site on blast for charging up-and-coming artists thousands of dollars for “packages” to post their videos, then artificially inflating their videos views.
Well, now rapper 50 Cent has put the site on blast in this new video for using a keyboard trick to inflate hits. Fiddy said:
“So if you hear artists talking about they hot right now ’cause they on Worldstar and got a bunch of hits… they could of just bought a package…”
Fiddy might have been referring to music videos such as the one by Playaz Circle which gained over 2 million hits while videos by Rihanna and Jay Z garnered less views.

World Star is bullsh!t anyways, everybody was jumping on their bandwagon. All they do is jack people videos and put them on their site. Whats so great about that, then ALL the bloggers user those videos and credit as source. Copyright infringement. People need to start becoming more creative and create their own sh!t instead of bootlegging EVERYTHING!. All the blogs cover the exact same stories, use the same pictures, use the same Wordpress free templates. Can’t take it anymore!
I just saw on 106 & park yesterday that This is 50, and World star are both nominated for best hip hop blog. He may just be campaining to get the award. there are other nominees too though

Sandra this is soooooooo true! I manage an up and coming hip hop artist from Savannah, GA and when we wanted to see what the procedures were for having his video featured on the site they responded to us. They told us it will cost $350 to have his video posted when we could go to Blastro.com and upload for free and they host the video on their servers. So W**** St** H** H** is on some other crap just my opinion. So needless to say we left that offer in the dirt.
