Train Wreck Katt Williams Booted Out of 4 Seasons Hotel
Troubled comedian Katt Williams is like that drunk uncle who we think is hilariously funny when he’s tipsy. But he’s not so funny when he’s sober. So we overlook all the crazy things he does because he makes us laugh.
Sadly, Williams has more problems to deal with than just an occasional tumble off the wagon. He has mental problems too — and we can no longer overlook that. His mental problems means he is unreliable when recalling his actions and behavior. So any videos you see of him explaining himself can’t be trusted.
Last night, a friend of mine (one of my sponsors) who lives at the posh Four Seasons hotel and luxury residence on 14th Street in midtown called me to say Williams had just been kicked out of the hotel.
The hotel threw Williams out because he was loud and belligerent and caused a scene in the lobby.
But Williams told the AJC a different story.
According to sources close to Williams, he has bipolar disorder and he must have been having grandiose delusions when he told the AJC that he purchased a penthouse at the Four Seasons and also rented seven rooms for seven nights — all lies, according to the hotel management which had no record of him staying there.
All of this comes just days after Williams posted $41,000 bond to get out of the Coweta County jail after his much-publicized arrest for burglarizing a friend’s house.
We all thought Williams was funny onstage (in a weird sort of way), but now we know that he was really crazy all this time.

I actually like Kat more as an actor than a comedian, but anyway this is too bad. I hope he gets it together.

That’s what I was thinking at first, but if Steve is the man I think he is he’s understanding Kats prior actions now and feels sorry for him.
I just don’t know what to believe about Katt. It just makes me sad to see how his reputation is going down the drain. I hope he can redeem it before it’s too late.
If he’s really mentally ill I don’t believe in kicking someone when they’re down so I hope that he gets the help that he needs.

People with mental issues often self medicate with alcohol and
drugs which often turns into addiction.

A part of me can’t help but wonder if he IS truly suffering from mental problems or this is just another case of a high powered group trying to ruin his career because he won’t submit (MJ, TUPAC, etc.). At the same time…sometimes it is what it is…

Terika, Katt is funny and all, but I don’t think he’s that infuential for someone to conspire to destroy him. Dave, yes, but not Katt.

@wiggy no Itis here I said “I can’t help but wonder” not that is what I absolutely thought, which is why I said “sometimes it is what it is” and won’t go into detail because there may actually be something wrong with Katt. Other posts I went into detail because that’s what I believe based on things I’ve read and researched and people I know but we can agree to disagree.

I think it was a NYE show (last yr) where Steve had Kat perform @ Kat talked HELLA ish about Steve on stage before Steve came out. I heard Steve on the Foxxhole and he took the grown man’s approach. He reminded them that comedian’s aren’t rappers & ain’t no “beef” jumpin’ off….Kat was sayin’ ish like “You ain’t no King of Comedy.” A mess!
Thanks Trynabeme, yeah he was out of pocket with all that on stage. I like Steve Harveys response but you know what else. I don’t think he was lying. Wasn’t none of them worthy of King of Comedy status except my man Bernie Mac RIP
