Obama’s Numbers Slide Again
Who didn’t see this coming?
Quinnipiac is out with a new poll that shows President Obama’s job approval is under 50% for the first time, at 48%.
Obama is still on the positive side, with just 42% thinking he is doing a poor job. But it is not good news for a President trying to push through a tough set of initiatives, with health care and revamping the Afghanistan war at the forefront.
“Although President Obama’s job approval rating is below 50% for the first time nationally, it is not statistically different from his 50% approval rating in October. Nevertheless, in politics symbols matter and this is not a good symbol for the White House,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. Read more…

LMAO…sooo what? sooooooooooo what? soooooooooo what? 2%? oh wow….oooh please the Prez is not bothered…not sure who in their right mind thinks Prez can turn around this ish..sooo quickly..he never ever said that…he said he would try…so unfair the treatment and the expectations of this president….its pitiful really.

Poll numbers go up and down. We saw that in the election. He’s not going anywhere anytime soon, so all this hoop and hollarin about poll numbers is not going to change that he’s STILL the president.

Our President is dealing with so many issues vital to the well-being of this country. He is determined to get all this mess turned around and it would be nice if our community supported him. I think we do support President Obama with the exception of a few…smh. Polls are not going to deter him one bit…remember he was not supposed to beat Clinton. Sure his numbers are gonna be low if you poll all Republicans. I have has research classes was well as statistics, so I know how the numbers can be fixed to give the desired outcome. This tomfoolery gets 2 thumbs down.

I think the Republicans are the biggest Kool-aid drinkers in the world when it comes to their dumb a$$ decisions(sh1t they still think Sarah Palin was a great pick for VP)
I guess they would rather have a George “Smoke em out” Bush type of President that was in office and got nothing done but a never ending war and a jacked up economy…
Regardless of what the “polls” say, I still support the president of MY country. I voted for him knowing the promises and changes were not going to be immediate. So, I’m still claiming my
card. Obama has the problems that Bush passed on that he was still working on. (& No I’m not on the “Blame Bush” campaign; every President takes on the unresolved issues from the previous one.)
I love how Sandra dogs the hell out of Obama but never said anything about Bush and his crazy ass policies. Obama is trying I just think he may be a bit too optimistic. Obama is trying to undo almost 12 years of damage. Yes I said 12 years because I beloved Bill Clinton did a lackluster job during his second term. The odds are really stacked against Obama and the Republicans are not helping and these other scared, ignorant, racist people aren’t helping either. I pray for the President and the rest of our legislatures every night because having the future of people’s in your hands is a hard job, and being negative won’t help.
I do not believe Obama is a terrorist, a socialist, or a racist. He’s just an optimist. That is all.

My bad I got a little worked up.
This is really nothing new. When Regan was elected he was facing a tumbling economy as well. His numbers slid after he was elected, but that did not stand as we all know.
This is what happens when everything has turned to crap. He has only been in office 10 months. I choose to give his policies a little more time before judging. Anyone who has studied economics is aware of the lag time that exists between policy implementation and rebound, so I’ll give it a little more time.
In regards to all his promises… The man has 4 years to be in office, at least, and right now his plate is full with inheritied issues that are more pressing. I am sure he will get to his campaign promises as soon as the economy and war fire is out.. He’s already started with the healthcare overhaul, though I disagree with some points of the bill passed in the House.
OK.. I put my soapbox away now!!
His approval rating can drop to the teens, he is still the President of the United States, and my Commander-in-Chief. (I’m in the Air Force)
You don’t have to agree with what’s going on, or with what has happened, but it’s important that everyone works together to help each other, and not tear each other down. Nothing will get accomplished if each side keeps bickering!!

Highly skewed and relative polls don’t mean anything but of course the sensationalized conservative media would capitalize on them as if their lives depended on it. Considering the massive backlash the crippling Republican party has been facing in America and all over the world, their lives actually depend on it.

I still support Obama, even though I disagree with some of his policies. Because I diasgree with someone, doesn’t mean I dismiss everything about them. If anyone thinks that Obama is the headballer, alone, I own a piece of the everglades.
What WE have to do is hold Obama’s and everyone else’s feet to the fire, by calling your reps, emails and protest. An electorate doesn’t elect a president to have him fill orders, like Starbucks. That’s why it’s call activism.
I don’t think his poll numbers are that low Sandra. After all you can find a poll to support anynthing you want.
