UPDATE:

According to Grand Hustle employees, rapper T.I. is back home in Atlanta.

Rather than catch a commercial flight, which would have tipped off the media, T.I. arrived home in a custom van or bus just in time to celebrate the holidays with his family. T.I. will spend the next few months in a downtown Atlanta halfway house before being released on house arrest his final month.

According to a well-placed source, rapper T.I., who is serving a 12 month and a day bid on gun possession charges, will be released to an Atlanta halfway house to serve out the remainder of his sentence after the New Year.

This is good news to the legions of fans of the wordsmith widely considered the best rapper of his generation.

T.I. is expected to be released to the halfway house before his scheduled May 26 release date — maybe in February or March 2010. Unlike the strict prison rules that T.I. must now adhere to, the halfway house rules will be more relaxed.

T.I. will most likely be allowed to leave the halfway house during the day to work at his Grand Hustle offices or even to marry his sweetheart Tameka “Tiny” Cottle!

Meanwhile, T.I.’s clothing line AKOO is doing big business. The Fall/Winter Collection is selling out in major retail outlets. The Holiday ’09 Collection include staples such as Pea and Sport Coats in herringbone and hounds tooth, hooded cardigans which play on the idea of the traditional grandfather sweater, custom denim, chucky wool sweaters and classic rugby shirts and jackets for that well-dressed man in your life.

If I had a man or a son I would outfit him in pieces from T.I.’s line because the line is top quality.
