Convicted rapper Lil Wayne said his goodbyes from a studio last night before turning himself in today for sentencing in a Manhattan courtroom. Wayne pled guilty last October to carrying a concealed weapon. He will spend at least 8 months inside Riker’s Island prison. Weezy represents everything that’s wrong with society today. His time behind bars will be a wake up call to the disadvantaged youth who worship this mess.
“I’m out this bitch. To all my fans, my real fans, I really, really, really truly love you. I love you with all of me, for real. I’ll probably be loving everything else because I love you so much. Thank you from the bottom [of my heart]. Do not forget about me ’cause I will forever think about you, and I cannot wait for you to see me again. I’m out.”

@Daisy I’ve had that convo with my gyn, I thought that i’d need to start popping out kids this year, but she told me that women worry too much about fertility, that unless I was 40 and over, I really shouldn’t think about it that hard since I’ve never had any gyn related problems and I live a relatively healthy lifestyle. Ultimately it’s God that gives children, so when the time is right he gives us gifts.

I dont have any gyn problems and live a heathly lifestyle as well. I was just having this same convo on twitter today as well. I have time I am not stressing just yet. I had a gfriend that married young and therefore didnt try to have kids early on but when she got ready it took her FOREVER and she had miscarraiges as well she finally was blessed with a baby boy. So its true you really never know. Babies are def. a blessing from God!

I’m dipping. Females are born with all the eggs we will ever have, we don’t grow/hatch more. By the time we hit 40 we have 30% of our supply left. Just a fyi, that’s why I find it so interesting that all these celebs pushing 40 having twins, was not without medical help. They think we are stupid.
I might be married, well almost; but we’re not thinking of children for a while like 2 – 3 yrs which puts me at 31/32 and I’m still thinking of a 4 yr space between children (unless God humors me and gives me twins, Jesus hook ya girl up!), so it is something to think about. about being single, that can change at any time, a little over 2yrs ago I was sure i’d be single today, i’m not. Everything is in God’s hand, I do my part and let him handle the rest.

My aunts always ask me when I plan on having another child and my daughter asked for a brother/sister. We’ve been trying for 5 years now to have another child but I’ve heard that when you quit trying that’s when it happens. I hope we have twins but I know that ANY child is a blessing like you said.

@ Daisy, my mom had my sister when I was 20 and she was 42. My sister gets the treatment of an only child but also gets the comfort of having siblings, it’s a good deal for her! And… my husbands sister in law just had a baby, now I don’t know how old she is but she looks 105! Anyway when I said delusional I was thinking about folks who realized they never had kids and want some at age 59. I think that’s a bit much, but I’m no doctor.

I’ve only had one friend tell me she never had the big O and that was back in our early 20s. That’s pretty amazing. True enough I still enjoy it whether I have one or not, but having it is GREAT! As for the baby over 40 topic I’m suffering with that dilema myself. My man and I decided not to wait until we were married to try as we are both over 40 and he has no children. Low and behold now that we want it we can’t make it happen. Well it happened once but that little baby just wasn’t meant to grace us with his/her presence. Prior to 40 I got pregnant if you looked at me funny and I have never had a miscarraige. Now that I have found my soulmate it ain’t happenin.

As far as the baby talk goes, we’re planning to have another one maybe late this year, or early next year. We need a HOUSE, with a yard, etc. I also do believe that when you plan, it does not happen, but as soon as you take your mind off if the baby planning, it happens.
And yes, babies are truly a gift from God.

No we have not consulted a doctor yet. We can do that after we get married (July 10) if it hasn’t happened by then. I’ve been taking Folic Acid because Nicole Ari Parker said you should do that when you are trying to get pregnant to avoid Spina Bifida. I had asked the doc for a prenatal vitamin prescription after the miscarraige, but insurance didn’t cover it and that bad boy was $65. I wasn’t feeling that.

yes it is a prison, but the county jail of Queens Ny, when he goes upstate to sing sing or Attica then we can worry. That’s where you are really doing time, being sentence to one year and a day NY time is about 8 or less months witht the rest being on probation.
@Bird and @iscream i am only reading parts of your convo, how are you guys doing. I just want to mention you can buy any prenatal vitamins over the counter CVS, Duanne Reade ect.. and the folic acid too. Any women who is @ child bearing age should be taking them whether you are planning or not. I myself is AMA (advanced maternal age) and will request a Amnio when that time comes to r/o any birth defects early on. Some things blood test can’t pick up due to our age, weight ect.. good luck and buy a small bottle of colace because the prenatal pills that have iron in it will constipate you. Also there is a pill that have fish oil DHS or something in it that you can buy at target. I used to get plenty of samples from the drug reps and i would give them out to the patients. they are like 25.00 a box and you only get like 20 pills.

I heard that Lil Wayne will not be going to jail today anyway. It has been continued to March 2nd because of his tooth. Great news for the groupies!
