Celeb Style: Floyd Mayweather
Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather was spotted outside the Fountainebleu hotel in Miami Beach wearing Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite from head to toe. The riding boots came out in 2008 so you won’t find them in any stores. Don’t bother calling your personal buyer for that vest since it’s custom ordered and will probably run you about 5 or 6 Gs.
While we’re on the subject of Louis Vuitton, remember that ostrich skin backpack that Jay Z had in Paris last month? Well, it’s not a one-of-a-kind after all. There were 5 such bags made and they retail for $24,000 each.
In addition to Jigga, Halle’s baby daddy Gabriel Aubry has one and so does Kanye.
The cheaper version of this backpack comes in Taiga leather and will be available in select LV stores in March. The only problem is there are only 30 made. So only one bag apiece will be shipped to select stores. According to Holden at the Lenox store, there are already 100 guys on a waiting list for this backpack. It retails for $4,800.

Im a Louis V man myself, but I do believe there is such a thing as over kill. Custom made vest or not its too much. I personally feel like when you have money it will speak for itself…no need to advertise it.

@Anna, I’m sorry to tell you honey, Floyd is so little he could fit a whole body shot in a small picture. I was in Vegas at the Anger Management concert a few years back; him , his wife-like chick and a couple goons were in the row in front of me and I could look down at the waves in his Caesar cut. Fif shines the light on Floyd and writes this ninjas resume for all of us who werent familiar. Yeah, stood up there and creamed his manties when he saw him in th crowd Fif invited Floyd and the goons backstage (yeah, I know) but Floyd leaves a goon in the crowd wuith his chick and heads backstage WTF!! We ain’t see Floyd the rest of the night and that’s where the bromance started…
We all know what happens when you get chose out the first few rows of a concert and both of them are dodging DL rumors…But I ain’t the one to gossip.
I don’t like backpacks anyway and I am sad that they are coming back. And why is it all the men who wear backpacks get the extra small? Is that the style?
As someone said before…this is OVERKILL. If he was gonna do the boots(which are the business), he should of left out the vest…or vice versa.

those LV bags truly are the hotness. i love the ostrich one the most. the boots are too, but not worn like that Floyd. He needs to make it rain on a STYLIST! lol. I almost thought he was trying to go Airborne on us lol.

What is the purpose of men wearing backpacks anyway? I know college students aren’t spending $4800 to carry school books.

i want the ostrich and the taiga got em circled in my catalog. floyd yeah thats to much damier print for one night. side note when i was at superbowl this weekend at bel arbour louis store this dude bought his girl almost 70gs worth of stuff i wanted to slide my couple items over when he pulled out the black card
both of those backpacks look nice but i think i like the taiga over the ostrich.

A lot of people are so stuck on “labels”. Got a $150-$250 dollar outfit from the mall and you still look wack. I’m a simple dresser too..

I like for my man to match, but this dude is doing too much. I like the vest but those boots are ugly, he should’ve worn a pair of black shoes with that outfit–it would’ve looked a lot better.
