So I watched civil brand for the first time last night and her acting was D-R-E-A-D-F-U-L! The scene where they said she was on suicide watch I thought they were talkin about her career! I think Lisa Raye is a very pretty woman but her acting just does not do it for me
Who is she trying to impress talking like that?
ehhhhhhh I dont think I’m interested in watching ‘DIAMOND’s day to day activities…. for some reason I dont think shes all that interesting unless shes on somebodys pole-NO HOMO I’m just saying… whats she bringing to the screen that’ll grab our attention???
Has she progressed past Diamond? Has she done anything relevant? She seems to have a very inflated sense of self.
Why is she acting like she was this award winning actress? She is only known for the character Diamond in the movie Player’s Club. And, Sandra I don’t consider Player’s Club a classic.

After seeing that preview, the only way this show is going to work is if its ghetto nonsense. She is going to have to show the world who she is. Older attractive ghetto chick. Cute in the face and brainless but street savvy. If she try’s to play make believe and act as if she is an intelligent sophisticated worldly woman it will crash and burn. This show is going to need petty ghetto drama 24/7. You know she needs to have a married sugar daddy ect….
I watch Players Club from start to finish every time it comes on, thats my movie right there!
Now Star Jones and Vivica Fox need shows to finish off the self aggrandizing trio. All of them are struggling for relevance but think they are the sh*t.

Hellz No…All I see is Diamond. It seemed when she was married she acquired a little more reservation about herself, but now it’s back to the Player’s Club days.
i’ll definitely watch her show. i get what she’s trying to say about ‘cult’ film, but most of the people in players club, except her, had names for themselves in the industry. but i get where she’s going with that statement.
school daze was a cult film. jasmine, kadeem, tisha campbell, etc all went on to greater things after this movie. tisha was probably the “star” other than larry fishburne, but the rest of the cast …this is where they truly got their hollywood start.

She reminds me of my schoolyard acquaintance who is lost in life right now because she has always thought that being pretty is enough to get her by in life. Um, no boo-boo you need to get your grind on and make a statement if you want to run with the big dogs in life.
