Celeb Style: Custom Louis Bags

Yesterday, I posted a photo of newcomer rapper Waka Flocka Flame holding a limited edition gator Louis bag.

No, not that Louis. The designer’s name is Louis Stewart and his Louis Stewart Collection high end bags are all the rage among ballers and celebs right now. All the bags are Handmade in Los Angeles California from the highest quality materials.

After I posted that pic of Waka and his Louis backpack yesterday, a few people hit me up asking how they can get in touch with the man who designed all of Louis Vuitton’s backpacks and duffle bags for 4 years. Stewart stepped out on his own last year, and since then he’s been designing custom bags for professional athletes and rappers. His line of Louis bags aren’t available in stores yet. So if you can get your hands on one (like I’m trying to do), you will be in exclusive company!

This morning I finally got in touch with Louis Stewart rep Alex Thomas who sent over these pics of stars with their bags.

You are 100 percent correct. I mean, this IS the country of the “Pet Rock” and the “Snuggie.” SMH.

These ~~purses~~….*ahem* “bags” were a gift but it gives free publicity to the manufactor. MUCH cheaper and more effective than a commercial. They should have charged to have the pics released or something.

Those are nice bags IMO and since it looks like quite a few of them are actually in airports, hotels (my man Melo is in a locker room), I’m guessing they actually own those bags and it’s not a photo op.

Ricky Ross is killing them. I don’t care for some of the colors but those bags are on point on don’t look anywear near being cheap.

OTB I’m feeling the zebra skin too and I don’t like animal print. Those purses are FIYAH!!!

@ Man, it’s a blanket with sleeves! A robe is too thick to lay down on the the couch with it on, slip into a Snuggie put your arms into the sleeves and then you can type on the laptop or change the channels while your arms are warm. These are DEFINITELY photo ops/advertisements for LV.

-They are POSING with the bags…

-EVERYONE is making sure to have the emblem viewable and prominently displayed

-NONE of them are “models” but are rappers/athletes so there is no reason for a photographer to say “Hey, what designer bag is that?” to take the photo of them posing.

–CAN DRAKE EVEN AFFORD ONE OF THESE ~~PURSES~~…BAGS?????

I hope they are being compensated for these advertisments. Sadly, I doubt it.

Dude designed LV bags for the last 4 years so I’m guessing he’ll be just fine in getting clientele (as we can see from above). With the exception of the people who wanted those funky color combinations, those bags are tight. Why the football player have the best looking bags..lol (I like Drakes too though)

Anyway, Carmello is one of my favorite basketball players. Actually he’s my fourth favorite and I think the most underrated basketball player in the league. (just throwing that out there)
