fanMAIL: “Are these President Obama’s words?”
A loyal reader, who asked to remain anonymous, sent this in. She wonders if Obama really said these words because if he did, she says her faith in him is shaken.
I did a Google search and I cannot find any reference to connect Obama to these words. It is interesting that the passages fits with everything Obama has done since being elected. The truth hurts.

Hi Sandra,
Someone emailed this to me and said it was taken from President Obama’s speech at the Ramadan dinner at the White House. I know you are not fond of our President. But can you look into this and see if its true?
Below is an excerpt taken from Obama’s alleged speech at the Ramadan dinner at the White House:
“As a Citizen, as the President of the United States, and as a Muslim, I feel I should weigh in on all of this. I was born Muslim. My Father was Muslim. My Stepfather was Muslim. My Mother converted to Islam. Let me be clear… I was raised in Muslim Kenya and Muslim Indonesia. I attended Muslim Schools.
“I knelt on my Prayer Rug, facing Mecca, 5 times a day, and prayed to ALLAH. I have taken NASA’s Space Exploration Mission away from them, and instead, have directed them to bolster the Self Esteem of my Muslim Brothers. I am using taxpayer monies to pay for the construction of Mosques overseas. I have instructed my state department to give the Imam of this 911 Mosque, free travel in a U.S. Gov’t. Jet, paid for by the American Taxpayers, all over the Middle East. I attended the Muslim Ramadan Dinner, but not the National Prayer Breakfast.”

But to post something like this, and even though you can’t actually confirm it as being true (and let’s be real – if he’d ever REALLY said this, it would be ALL OVER FOX NEWS AND OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS), and at the end of the post you write “The truth hurts” is just beyond words.
Although I’ve always enjoyed all of your other content, as negative and spiteful as it may generally be, I just don’t think I will be visiting your site anymore. This is one huge mess, let’s be clear Islam did not bomb the World Trade Centers terrorist did the bombings. It is even wrong for the media to keep calling these terrorist radical Isla-mist, that is like calling David Koresh or Jim Jones radical Christians there behavior was clearly radical however to associated it with a religion or a way of life is wrong. They did not take what they read in the Bible or Koran and exercise it these people implemented their own beliefs into what they read got some folks to agree or go along with it, and began to believe their own wickedness to be truth. There is nothing wrong with building a mosque down the street, would anyone oppose a church being built there I highly doubt it.

Second, reading the Qu’ran does NOT make you a Muslim. I read the Bible and Torah and probably know them better than most Christians and Jews BUT I am a Muslim. I like to study and have some understand of ALL religions, hence why I can deal with people from all walks of life.
