Rihanna is in the Navy now. Isn’t she gorgeous as a butch soldier? Love the hair! Okay, I’m kidding. She’s actually starring in her first feature length film titled “Battleship,” named after the popular board game that we all loved as kids. Rihanna will play a beautiful fearless naval officer who is helping to battle the aliens. That’s funny, I don’t remember any aliens being a part of the Battleship game. Yesterday on Twitter.com RiRi announced she will be releasing new music in about 10 days.
Jet Setter Halle Berry was not a happy camper as she arrived back at Heathrow airport after a two-day trip to New York yesterday. I’m assuming she’s tired of answering questions about her rumored pregnancy (see her balled up fist). Halle is in London filming a movie. She was in New York visiting her daughter Nahla and baby daddy Gabe Aubry. I keep hearing that Halle can’t keep a man because of her stank attitude. That’s not entirely her fault. It’s rare that you meet a beautiful woman who doesn’t have issues. That’s because these women grow up hearing how cute and beautiful they are almost daily. As a result, they grow up with a feeling of false entitlement. They simply stop believing they have to be nice to get attention.
Singer Akon Thiam was spotted leaving a London hotel yesterday. Forbes recently named Akon #3 on the list of Hip Hop’s Cash Kings with a treasure trove of around $21 million, which isn’t much in today’s economy. Lil Wayne is right behind him at #4 with only $20 million.
Actors Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe are still a loving couple. The Kodjoes, and their children, reside in sunny California now where they attended the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Governor’s Ball at Nokia Theatre on Sunday (Aug. 29). Yes, they lost their Atlanta home to foreclosure, but I was told they let the home go due to the recession. According to a recent study, more rich homeowners are doing the same. They simply walk away from a mortgage when the home’s value is assessed at lower than what they owe on it. The rich see their homes as an investment and they usually own multiple properties. So by walking away they are cutting their losses, and their personal wealth isn’t affected because they usually buy their homes through a trust or a LLC.
Kanye West’s former beard Amber Rose was spotted leaving the O Bar in West Hollywood last night. Apparently she hasn’t gotten the word that she’s a has-been (not that she ever was a “been”) and that’s because club promoters keep paying her to host their parties. Amber will be in Atlanta this weekend to host a party for Traxx as part of the Black Gay Pride weekend. The promoters better hope she actually shows up. You know Amber has a history of taking promoters deposits and bouncing. I’m trying to figure out if I will go to Miami or New York this weekend to escape the crowds.
Our favorite baby mama, Savannah Brinson, LeBron’s soon-to-be wife, is shown briefly in this video shot by the NBA superstar during Open house at his son’s school. Little Bronny (LeBron Jr.) is starting his 1st day at kindergarten in Ohio, and his proud daddy gave us a tour of his classroom. Wasn’t that sweet of him? I love the part where LeBron’s mom smiles at the camera and Savannah points out Bronny’s lunch number “so he can eat for free.” It’s good to see they are one big happy family. Savannah is so soft spoken and down to earth. We can see why he loves her. Take notes ladies; men do not like loud women.

Her short hair was styled differently back in the Boomerang/Strictly Business days, and she was loooking real fine in those flicks cuz she had such an attractive, youthful, cuteness about her.

I would hope so…because if you can’t go bare faced and still be cute then you’re creating an illusion. A man who feels threatened, insecure or jealous can act out in a completely different way than what you expect and it can blow up in your face.
