A CGI cartoon video titled “Black Marriage Negotiations” has gone viral on YouTube. This video is probably viral because so many single sistahs think they recognize someone they know in this video.
The problem is that sistahs don’t recognize themselves in this video.
The black man who is willing to bend in response to the black woman’s demands (because he loves her) is labeled a weak man.
The black woman portrayed in this video prefers a thug who will not bend — except to beat her down on occasion — which she believes indicates true love.
Black man: Well, you drive a hard bargain. But, because I love you so much, I’m willing to make the sacrifice.
Black woman: Naw, you’re too weak. I need a man with a backbone who won’t let me run all over him. Besides, you’re not 6-feet-5, and that’s a deal breaker.

Celeb Style: Brandy
R&B singer Brandy, her brother Ray J and her Dancing With the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy had dinner at Beso restaurant in West Hollywood last night.
I don’t recognize this hawt Louis Vuitton backpack Brandy wore last night. From the age of the leather, it might be a vintage Louis. I’m not sure. Maybe LV personal shopper, Tavius Elder at the LV store inside Saks Fifth Avenue, knows which bag this is.
Brandy, who no doubt has heard our appeal for new music, may drop her new album in 6 months! Brandy recently said she’s putting the finishing touches on her new album and it has a hip hop vibe.
“The album is coming sooner than later. I’m definitely not going to take too much longer with it. But I’m finished with my deal, basically, and I can’t tell you with who yet. It’s going to be a great home. I’m just really excited about everything so maybe in the next 6 months or so an album will be out. Is that too long?” The upcoming opus will also see the singer revisiting the genre she started out with: “It’s going to be perfect and its definitely going to be rooted in R&B” she says “It’s back to the roots!”

Kanye West: “There Were Times I Contemplated Suicide”
Troubled producer Kanye West premiered his movie/music video “Runaway” at the Harmony Gold theater in Los Angeles yesterday.
The “Jesus Walks” rapper told the audience of tastemakers and power hitters that there were times when he contemplated suicide. But he said he changed his mind because others don’t have a voice as loud as his, and he wanted to speak for them.
The 33-year-old said, “there were times that I contemplated suicide. I will not give up on life again.”
He also revealed his 3rd single “All of the Lights” off his upcoming album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The track features 11 artists, including Rihanna, Alicia Keys, The Dream, John Legend, Elton John, Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson, and others. Kanye described “Lights” as “completely seamless and ghetto as f*ck!”
Yesterday I told you that Kanye took to this Twitter page to brag about his graphic album cover being “banned in the U.S.A.” It turns out the album’s cover is only banned at discount retailers Walmart and Target in the US.

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s pre-teen daughter Willow Smith already looks bored with all the attention heaped on her after the debut of her music video “Whip My Hair” on BET yesterday. The precocious 9-year-old was seen outside her hotel in New York City yesterday evening after appearing on BET’s 106 & Park.
Though it’s obvious that the fashion forward youngster borrowed her style sense from Pop Diva Rihanna, Willow’s personal wardrobe is courtesy of her mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith, who takes the kid shopping and helps her to pick most of the pieces we’ve seen her wear.

Celebrity Seed: Alicia Keys and Hubby Take Baby Egypt to Doctor
According to INFPhoto.com, Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz took their newborn baby Egypt (who was born October 14th) to a Manhattan doctor for his first check-up.
Aside from the fact that the baby will have to struggle under the weight of bearing a girl’s name for the rest of his life, he seems to be healthy.
After handing the baby over to a nanny, the couple spent a romantic evening doing a little window shopping and buying baby clothes in New York City.
I hope the post-pregnancy happiness lasts for Alicia. Egypt is Swizz Beatz’s 3rd child by as many women.
