T.I. Goes In, Lil Wayne Walks Out; Tiny Might Not Be Able To Visit T.I.
Rapper T.I. bid adieu to his family and friends yesterday and turned himself into the same Arkansas correctional facility where he spent 10 months last year.
A prison spokesman told TMZ that T.I. checked in yesterday morning and was being processed.
T.I. is a cordial guy and I’m sure he was welcomed warmly by the staff and correctional officers who befriended the “I’m Serious” rapper while he was behind bars on federal weapons charges.
Before he left Atlanta, T.I., 30, attended Ebony Steele’s Bare Chest for Breast Cancer fashion benefit to raise funds for cancer research (photo above from the event). T.I. also donated his time and money to charitable causes that were never mentioned in the media.
T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 35, hopes to be leaving for the Forrest City federal prison in a few days. But word is Tiny might not be allowed to visit T.I. since she has a pending court hearing on a felony drug possession charge in California.
Inmates in federal prisons can not receive visits from guests who are also charged with felonies.
Last year, Tiny and a friend made weekly visits to the Arkansas prison to see T.I. until he was released to a halfway house last December.
The friend who accompanied her most often to Arkansas was the same woman who was arrested along with Tiny and T.I. during a traffic stop in West Hollywood on September 1st.
Meanwhile, that other incarcerated rapper, Lil Wayne, is set to leave Rikers Island prison on Thursday. The “Lollipop” rapper wrote a letter on his blog thanking his fans for their loyal support.
He also penned a few words to an unidentified woman in a picture on the wall of his cell:

…sitting on this bed with my back against one of the four walls I’ve been confined to, all I can think of is you. Staring at you staring at me, from the picture of you that I see. I try so hard to make the picture smile. You look so serious. Seriously beautiful. You, me, we are one. Then I look further to the right and there’s a picture of “the bed by the water”… where I dream to be with the woman in the picture that still won’t smile. I sometimes talk to the picture, but it never responds. Although, I’ve been told that a picture speaks a thousands words, I only wish that this picture would speak of four… “I love you too.” That would be the perfect response to what I frequently say to it. You see, the picture of “the bed by the water” has sand in it, and the woman in the other picture has sand in her hair… put them together, and she’s there. And when I dream, I’m there with her. Shhh… quietly these four walls become that place in the picture. And the woman in the picture begins to whisper… “I love you too”… she responds!
And now she smiles. Imagination is perfect.

Who could the woman be? Is she one of his four baby mamas, who I hear are filming a reality TV show together? Or is she just another concubine slash groupie that Weezy plans to knock up as soon as he gets out of prison?

@Bird.. Yep POSESSION of Xcstacy in VA is a felony. Since she was popped in Cali, I guess their laws are different! It’s whatever…
She won’t face the same repercussions as regular folks so hopefully she’ll learn a lesson and move forward in a positive way.
Ms. Gauzz LA county has the most lax drug laws in the country, its a misdemeanor unless something changed when she went to court yesterday or she had enough to sell. Petty drug crimes don’t even get jail in LA… completely different than in the south

Thanks for clearing that up! Yeah, the drug laws in the South, are to be believed! They DO NOT play at all!!! Anyway, felonies and the like don’t have the same impact on celebs that they do for us regular folks.
