lol yeah thats a lil deep

I don’t think she meant it literally. Just using a similie or metaphor to explain the level of ecitement she had and her experience

Oprah, personally, isn’t going away, but an era is. The Oprah Winfrey show, which has aired for 25 years, is now gone. What she has accomplished, especially as a black woman, is phenomenal. I don’t believe anyone will ever replace her. She’s a brand like Michael Jackson. People like them don’t come along often. No worship, just facts.

She isn’t black Jesus by any means, but I understood what she was saying.

I’m sorry to see Oprah go, and I will miss her show immensely. I DVR’d the last three shows for my archives. They were tremendously moving.

Oh snap I remember that part. I don’t see anything wrong with her describing how she felt giving Oprah a shake on her final show. I’m sure you all have called his name in vain. She didn’t say anything wrong.

Oprah final show was powerful and I felt like I was in a lecture hall listening to Prof. Oprah in Life:101

    :applause:

“Black Jesus” I do understand her excitement, because if I touched Usher’s hand that may just be my rapture…but I’m not comparing anyone to Jesus in no kind of way…I love Oprah, but most people on pedestals usually come down…half of the time it’s not even there fault…but it gives their “followers” a reality check that they are human and they make mistakes just like everyone else.

@ iscream – Now that you mention that, I can totally see Oprah being a guest lecturer at a university. I don’t know what she would teach but I could see it.

I am a BIG BIG BIG Oprah fan but I have to say I was a little taken aback with her being her last guest. However, after watching the show, I was pleasantly surprised. I will say that alot of the things she said were common sense but it was nice to hear the show summed up in her words.

I didn’t get to see the show. Most ppl wanted only “Her” for her final show. All the ppl she had in her audience had never been to her show in it’s 25 yr run. Her being her “OWN” guest made sense to me, she is on the cover of every “O” magazine w/the expection of Ellen and The First Lady.
