I’m an aspiring model and actress who goes by the name of (Miss. Miami Monroe), and I really would love if you would put me on your website as a Morning Glory. Attached are a couple of photos of me. I am currently in the United States Air Force. I just want to show people – women especially – that you can be a professional, be beautiful and have goals and dreams, be 100% professional and have a tough hands-on job. I represent a lot of things: strength, courage and beauty. I hope you choose to put me on your website. It would mean a lot of exposure that I need and deserve. I WILL MAKE IT! I just don’t want to do it by dating someone, porn or stripping! Thank you for your time and consideration.

- You want exposure but dont want to do it by stripping, porn or dating so you email Sandra? Because that’s not thirsty at all right?
- Let’s be real: what kind of “modeling” do you plan on doing? You’re short, not at all “model-thin” and you look very “normal.” So you can ONLY want to be but a CERTAIN type of model (which may denote a whole nother level of thirstiness in itself.)
- Dear, if you are in the Air Force, you already have to have SOME sense and some inkling of discipline and morale. PLEASE PLEASE aspire to do something with that more than the usual shaking azz in videos and posing half-naked in men’s mags. Because although you wont say it in your letter, you AND I both know that is what you’re getting at here.

Now, outside of my letter to Miss Monroe, I must say- it bothers me like SH*T when grown azz women who could really delve into any REAL professional career decide that they wanna “aspire” to be “models.”
WTF is the world coming to? She’s in the Air Force! She can take that money they give her for higher ed and take it to law school, med school, just regular school and many places will higher her based off the fact that she recieved an honorable discharge or something from the air force! But nooooooooo……
I’d rather show everybody my azz and then askt hat also respect my brain.
It’s annoying! It’s more to life than spending your life showing everybody your twat, azz and tits and hoping some rapper flies your azz to his hotel for a weekend! The new generation of Black women have some serious self-esteem issues and fukk “saying something nice.” I’d rather “say the truth!”

I respect her approach and her effort to become a socialite, actress, singer, etc. through a respectful portal….HOWEVER!!! Her attempt to become a (?) in a moral manner is contradicting her pictures. By her pictures, you’d think she was a video-vixen, groupie, concert dancer, whatever. And the reason for the “(?)” is…well…where exactly is she trying to grow? What is she exactly trying to be? Model? Singer? I’m not going to mention her skin, hair, whatever. Honestly, I see nothing wrong with it. Damn it, she’s human! I rather for her to be genuine in her pics than a bootleg, airbrushed, botoxed, half-steppin’, artificial slave (*ahem* Nicki Minaj)

Now for my two cents: Maybe her dream is to be a model, entertainer etc. Just because she’s in the airforce and has a “good job” means nothing to certain types of people. Plenty of people have left their “good jobs” to struggle before they actually made it in Hollywood BUT it can happen.
I support people taking risks and putting themselves out there for the world to bash because that shows how strong of a person they are.
To Miami Monroe: All I will say is that if you really want to make it in that industry you need to tone up a bit and lose a few lbs. I’m not saying that to be mean but look at it this way, the camera adds 10 lbs. so I’m sure if we saw you in person you’d look normal size but Hollywood doesn’t play by “normal” standards. Most entertainers are really tiny when you see them in person. You should really develop a good cardio and strength training routine and stick to it. In addition to the working out you need to eat right to get the best results.
I also agree with the girls that said something about your skin BUT that isn’t nearly as important in my eyes as the weight. YOU BY NO MEANS ARE FAT but being normal girl ready is one thing and being camera ready is another.
Also, never send someone unflattering pictures of yourself. The pic. of you from the back with the red pants on would have been really hot had your arm been more toned and sans the back fat. I hope you don’t think I’m being mean but I’m trying to tell you that for your own good. Competition is fierce in modeling and you should aim to be the best. The other pic in the blue dress was okay but before the camera flashes next time…suck that stomach in.
We’re girls. **** happens. I’ve had to do a suck and tuck before. We all have it’s nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of the girls that do modeling and take pictures do the same things. TRUST ME.
Lastly, learn your angles and what poses work for you. You could have even manipulated your arm into looking more toned by knowing how to hold it, how to flex it and how best to pose with it. Stand in the mirror and practice, practice, practice!
Other than that you have a beautiful skin tone, you’re very pretty, I love your brows and you’re the right shape for the modeling you’re trying to get into. I can surely see you in some big videos or magazine spreads if you just tweak things a bit. I wish you much success in your endeavors and please keep the SR fam updated on any big gigs or bookings you get. Keep getting better and don’t let anyone stop you.

@ Vero….I simply use clean & clear for sensivitve skin (its purple) and I use toner! I don’t have bad skin, just a few cases of acne here & there sometimes! I also have oily skin, but sometimes it starts drying out because i’m getting older! People get upset about oily skin, but oily skin is what helps slow the aging process. A lot of people tell me I don’t look 36! But use that and a good toner for oily skin! GOOD DON’T MEAN EXPENSIVE. I use the CVS brand!

Shoot I should have asked you before. i was in the US last week and I bought Neutrogena exfoliating and rinse lotion and i don’t really like them.
i had really bad acne when i was a teenager. now my dermatologist tells me i have a gorgeous skin, except when i get this break outs.

I certainly think it’s great that she has aspirations outside of her military career. Being prior military myself, what I find alarming is that she seemed to have MISSED the (code of conducts) that’s enforced by the US Military. Her pictures seemed very tasteful until I viewed the very last one where she is topless & holding her breasts. She doesn’t want to viewed as your average video model, vixen & so forth but her last picture put her on the mark to be viewed as such. Being that sandrarose.com is VERY popular social media blog Miss Monroe seemed to be oblivious to the fact that her pics can end up in the wrong hands (US AirForce). I could be wrong but her seemingly harmless approach for exposure could land her in violation of the US military code of conduct. Best wishes to her though….

Miami Monroe sounds like a porn or stripper name. The only modeling I see her doing is maybe print modeling but she needs to tone up. For acting she should considering taking acting class.

You probably got hater chicks stationed with you but you know what they say … one monkey dont stop no show.
People in your life who offer constructive criticism are usually looking out for your best (whether they are trying to improve your product or stop you from chasing your tell on a fantasy) but ultimately, you will know when to push forward or fall back. Again some people offer opinions just to hate (jealous ones envy).
On any blog for public consumption, you will not get 100% agreement. I bet if a known, paid model came here and posted their pics anonomously, she would get hate, too (just human nature).

She should have never mentioned she is in the AF. She’s kinda dumb for that. She should have just said she was in the military or maybe formerly in the military. How many people go on this site on an Air Force Computer? I know of like 12 at our base alone. I hope she made it big making this idiot move because I think her Air Force career is over. She’s lucky she doesn’t work for me.
