In Case You Missed It: Braxton Family Values, Ep 1

The 2nd season of the popular ‘Braxton Family Values’ reality show premiered last night on WEtv. Grammy award-winning singer Toni Braxton, her mother, Evelyn, and her sisters, Tamar, Towanda, Trina and Traci allow the WEtv cameras to follow them as they go about their daily lives.

In last night’s episode, Toni, who moved to LA, and her ex-husband, Keri Lewis, get back together. Tamar is secretly recording her own album apart from the family project. This leads to a heated showdown between Toni, Tamar and Evelyn.

Everyone wonders why Tamar only pecked her husband, Vince Herbert, on the cheek during an intimate moment between the couple. If you’re into body language, Tamar’s body posture said all you need to know about their relationship. Tamar and Vince most likely have separate bedrooms. That doesn’t mean they don’t love each other.

Trina Braxton still has anger issues from that time when her husband Gabe allegedly cheated on her for 5 of the 7 years they have been married. Meanwhile, Gabe wants Towanda, her two kids and her deadbeat estranged husband, Andre, to move out of his home, but he’s met with strong resistance from Trina.

I watched it this morning. Um, not sure wassup with towanda and her husband living with her sister. Unless y’all in escrow or waiting for your closing. They moved in with no certain exit date. WTF? Andre should feel like the biggest loser (not weight either) for not providing for his family.

Mama Evelyn let Tamar know that she, Miss E was the Head Diva In Charge. It’s about time someone really spoke to Tamar about her big mouth. I think we all learned not to walk away from Mama Evelyn when she is speaking.
Trina was so wrong for allowing her sister and fam to move it without discussing it with Gabe. When you marry, your first loyalty is to your husband. He wasn’t even saying put them out right now – just get a timeline.
Towanda and her baby daddy are some bums. Just because she’s not Toni’s assistant, that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t get a job. Lots of wannabe actresses work AND audition. Her hubby writing a book? I haven’t seen evidence he can spell the word book. Towanda and hubby need to be ashamed for not kicking in some money on the bills.
