Source: No reality show for Vince and Tamar Braxton
According to Sister2Sister magazine’s Jamie Foster Brown, ‘Braxton Family Values‘ star Tamar Braxton and her producer/hubby Vince Herbert (who also manages Lady Gaga) are getting their own spin-off reality show.
Here is what Jamie wrote in the December 2011 issue of S2S magazine:
When we sat down with Trina, Traci and Towanda Braxton for the December issue of Sister 2 Sister, they exclusively told S2S that Tamar and Vince will star in their own reality series, set to air next year.
Jamie also mentioned that the couple would discuss the spin-off show on last night’s episode. But the only show Tamar and Vince discussed in episode 5 was Vince shooting a documentary on his life to be aired in Japan.
That scene was filmed before Vince collapsed and was rushed to a hospital 2 months ago.
According to a source close to Tamar and Vince’s camp, Vince is currently in no condition to shoot a reality show after being released from a NY hospital in November.
Sandrarose.com broke the story that Vince was hospitalized in New York in October and treated for blood clots in his lungs. The usually fatal illness left him weak and unable to talk for days (due to 02 tubes in his throat).
“He hasn’t even left New York since he was released from the hospital,” the confidant told Sandrarose.com exclusively. “He can’t travel anywhere. He’s staying in a hotel close to the hospital so he can be treated as an outpatient,” the source added.
The source said Vince is doing much better today, “but he’s not 100% yet. He’s definitely not shooting a reality show.” The source also confided that Vince has “lost over fifty pounds” since his ordeal. But “he’s not out of the woods yet.”

World’s Tiniest Teenager Wins Guinness World Record
Jyoti Amge of India has been recognized by Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s shortest woman. Jyoti was known as the world’s shortest teenager until she turned 18 this year. Guinness said in a statement Jyoti has grown less than one centimetre (0.4 inch) in the last two years and will not grow any taller due to a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia.
The teenager stands at 24.7 inches tall – 2.76 inches shorter than the 22-year-old American who had held the title since September. She weighs about 10 lbs.
She receives a lot of support in her hometown of Nagpur, India, where she is treated like a minor celebrity. Jyoti lives with her parents and her 3 siblings. She attends school where she studies at a tiny desk made especially for her.
Jyoti burst into tears after receiving her plaque, and sharing a birthday cake with friends.
“I have put Nagpur on the world map. Now everyone will know where it is,” she said.

Reality TV personality and socialite La La Anthony celebrated the renewal of her reality show on VH1 recently. La La and her son Kiyan Anthony hung out together in Times Square yesterday. La La wore all black outfit with pleather pants and spiked boots.

Socialite Kim Kardashian was spotted boarding a private jet with her family bound for Las Vegas, where she attended the grand opening of her Kardashian Khaos boutique at the Mirage Resort Hotel and Casino yesterday. Talk show maven Barbara Walters conducted an interview with Kim, her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney back in September. Walters basically told them they had no talent and they won’t be around next year. It was a reality check that the family wasn’t expecting.

DMX and his wife seek couples counseling — on a reality show
Troubled rapper DMX has spent more time in a jail cell than in a recording studio in the last 10 years. Fresh out of jail, again, the bipolar rapper is set to star in a new reality TV show.
DMX, 40, and his estranged wife, Tashera Simmons, will be featured in ‘Couples Therapy’ which is set to premiere with eight, one hour episodes in the spring of 2012 on VH1.
DMX has 10 children in total — 4 with Tashera. They’ve been married for 11 years.
According to a press release that was sent out to media outlets, but not blogs:

In Case You Missed It: Braxton Family Values, Ep 5
Last night’s episode of WE tv’s ‘Braxton Family Values‘ was very timely, considering the scandalous events that took place online yesterday. As you know, Trina Braxton’s cheating husband Gabe was caught red-handed, so to speak, by a woman who videotaped his hand exercises and posted screen captures on Twitter.com.
But Gabe redeemed himself, somewhat, by inviting Trina’s dad, Michael, to Trina’s college graduation ceremony.
In an attempt to save her marriage, Trina meets with her therapist, Dr. Sherry, and reveals that she cheated on her husband Gabe — who cheated on her for 5 of the 8 years they’ve been married. But Trina clarified that she didn’t cheat to get back at him. She cheated for the same reason that most men cheat on their wives — to see if they still have it.
“It was to prove to myself that I still had the little ‘what-what-hey-hey-hey-yeah-yeah’ still left in me,” said Trina.
Meanwhile, Toni Braxton, who has fed and clothed her entire family for more than 20 years, wants to reclaim her independence. She fires Tamar Braxton’s hubby, Vincent Herbert, as her manager. Then Toni and and her puerile sister Tamar go head-to-head over dinner.
“Music has been this family’s business,” Tamar tells Toni. “Music has been Toni Braxton’s family business,” Toni corrects her. After reminding her sisters that she agreed to do the reality show, Toni informs them that they will never record a family album together.
Gabe of BFV Talks Trina, Jealousy and Infidelities
Gabe Solis, husband of Braxton Family Values star Trina Braxton, is in hot water with his wife after a woman posted videos and screen captures of him allegedly masturbating on Twitter.com.
In an in-depth interview with WE tv, Mr. Solis admitted that he has a problem with infidelity. He also revealed that both he and Trina have been unfaithful to each other — though he claims he has never had sexual intercourse with another woman while he’s been married.
“I think people are unfaithful — I’ve always had issues before I met Trina,” he said. “I never had sexual intercourse with another woman,” he added. “Trina tells me to take a lie detector test and I’m like ‘go ahead.’ I was unfaithful, but at a certain level I always backed off, for my own sanity, the guilt. A marriage is hard work — whoever says it isn’t is lying.”
WE TV: Can Trina trust you to be faithful now?
GABE: I believe she can. I think I have some issues I need to work on — I’m seeing a therapist who has helped me deal with some things where marriage is concerned. I think I can be faithful to just Trina, but it’s really getting the opportunity to prove that.
